Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack

This is the third time that we’ve been here. I was a little shocked that they didn’t have a refrigerator in the rooms but it’s a casino, so perhaps they removed them The last two times that we were there we had one!!! However, everything was great. I played a two dollar machine I’ve never played before and ended up winning $780. I was thrilled…. We live in Pennsylvania, so it doesn’t take us long to get there maybe two hours at best!!! I always enjoy myself when I’m there. The place is extremely clean the deli has excellent food, and so does the buffet.

I stopped and stayed here while in route to Maryland. I'm glad I did! I had fun on the blackjack table. Then I got lucky playing wheel of fortune. Sign up for the players card! I got 7 free bucks for the slots. And when I was done playing and hungry, I got dinner in their cafeteria area. I got the 8oz steak, it came with onions and mushrooms, fresh steamed broccoli, and good mashed taters. I paid 4 bucks extra for the combo and got a side salad and drink. It was good! I was kind of sad the poker tables are not open for play on Monday and Tuesday. But then again, maybe that is why I got lucky playing 21 and slots? I plan to come back. I had a great time. The hotel room is large and clean! Five stars from me for this visit!

I didn't actually go to this hotel, I went to the casino and some of the dog races. I was on a senior bus from Pittsburgh. The buffet was not open while we were there so we actually got some food at the food Court. Everything we ordered was quite delicious. Since we left Pittsburgh quite early, I decided not to have coffee but found it there free on a table making me very happy. I tried my first time at the roulette table and found that quite exciting with the game attendant or dealer very nicely explaining it to me.

They have great slot machines there. I had a great time playing them. I will say, that I find this whole entire place very clean and extremely well taken care of. Ladies always need bathrooms in their bathrooms were spotless.

Unfortunately we weren't there long enough to see all the dog races but we did get to see about 5 and that was a lot of fun. We had some perks form on the bus which helped with the finances quite a bit.

Me & my girlfriend had fun . We will definitely be returning soon . It was worth the 2hr drive from Ohio. I wish they had a person walking around passing out drink 🍸 😐

I went to the casino to get a free gift but I missed the day. Instead I found that I had $90 from free slot play. From there I played my slot play and ended up winning $39. And I never stayed at the hotel. The drinks were good. I utilize the floor service and got my drink in 3 minutes and it was at a discounted price. It was in a convenient location from Columbus Ohio in between Pittsburgh PA. I will go again.

This was my first time back here since 2021. I had a great time! Plenty of bathrooms, self-serve soda and coffee machines, and the staff was super friendly. My parents and I ate at the food court which was amazing! I had a burger, which was huge and the toppings were so fresh and crisp. My mother had a wrap and my father had the Italian sandwich. Both of their dinners were fantastic as well! Service was quick and the food tasted great! The employees at the food court should definitely be recognized for all their hard work. We would have eaten at the buffet, but our bus left before they opened, no biggie. We have something to try next time! Thank you for a great afternoon of fun Wheeling!! Until next time!!

We had trouble getting free play. We talked to the front manager, with no help. We stopped Kim (general manager) inside the casino and told her our issue. She took care of us 100%. Very nice lady.

We played only slots. They have a great choice of machines. The rooms are very nice and clean. Dinner at the Pointe restaurant was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and certainly will return soon.

Best trip to a casino I every had. Rooms are exquisite. And one third the cost at least of any other casino. I highly recommend wheeling.

Fun place to game, dealers and staff are friendly. Rooms are pretty decent and they have great weekday rates. Best casino in the area.

Visited from Thursday afternoon thru Saturday afternoon. Great time, good food at reasonable prices but above all outstanding personnel. Gaming was diverse and available.

Moderately sized casino along the river in Wheeling, WV. They have mostly slots, but I want to highlight their table games pit. A few blackjack games, but more importantly, an awesome $5 craps game! They said it's open from 10-2am on weekdays and until 4 am on weekends. I had an absolute blast playing with the crew and dropping tokes for them. They made the game so fun and I had a great time at their table. I highly recommend checking this casino out, especially if you want to try table games at low minimums in a great, low key atmosphere.

Stayed here for a night. Staff is super nice. Buffet is really good. Rooms are clean but slightly outdated. Def a too option in this area.

We always go during the week and get 2 nights free. I've never met any personnel who weren't friendly and helpful. I rarely win much but I do enjoy the atmosphere and always look forward to going there.

Visited for pleasure. The rooms were clean, service was wonderful. Cylee and the staff at the food court are phenomenal! Won what I spent back so I broke even.

I enjoyed my stay at the Wheeling Island Casino. My family had a good time. Stayed all night on Monday and departed on Tuesday.

We found this Casino Hotel after a missed flight. One of the first things that we noticed was the staff here is very friendly and helpful. The casino is clean and newly refreshed and very comfortable. The hotel is perfect, quiet and the rooms are comfy and big.
The views of the river and racetrack are beautiful also. It is surrounded by a green mountain range.
The dealers are very fun to joke around with while you are having fun.
We will definitely be visiting here again in the future.

My family and friends love coming to Wheeling Casino. We always have a good time and the dealers are always nice. Drink service is a little slow on the casino floor, but Wheeling Casino will always be worth the almost two hour drive.
