We r from our of state.. my husbands payroll check from Milton WV was mailed to our former address. We already went to that post office b4 this one. The people working were so so HELPFUL AND SWEET to him. Bob & LeAnn made our day finding his payroll check in the hub. We knew it was as Bob said "finding a needle in a haystack" BOB FOUND IT!!! I am a travellee and have been to many post offices n the USA. These 2 absolutely went above and beyond for us and I want to recognize them in this busy holiday season. I'm sure they don't get enough thanks but today I AM THANKFUL FOR THESE POSTAL WORKERS! 11/18/2022

This is a very clean, friendly, helpful well-run post office. I'm amazed by the negative reviews here. I'm a visitor to Huntington and in my home town the people in the post office always have a line 15 people long, are hostile to their customers and don't even speak English. I loved coming here. Five stars from me.

I've always had great service from this post office. They've always been extra helpful and they set realistic expectations when I ask about things that are a bit off the beaten path.

ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO GO TO THE MAIN POST OFFICE. THEY ARE VERY HELFUL TO ASK IF YOU NEED STAMPS OR MAILING SUPPLIES.

Staff could be cheerier.

They pride themselves on being THE worst USPS store in this tri- state area. They tagged my package as undeliverable due to business being closed. This is impossible considering we close at 8pm and they tagged it at 6:07pm. We're open 7 days a week and open and close at the same time each day. Called them about my package for 2 straight hrs and no one answered. Drove 30 mins to get my package and their excuse for not answering? "We just don't answer the phone." Those were their exact words. Just like others stated in their reviews, they show no empathy and frankly don't care about their customers.

We showed up 8 minutes late to get a passport for our son with our two small children. One had been sick so it made us 8 minutes late (5 if you don’t count the line). We got to the counter and the clerk acted as though our appointment was hours ago. I said, we’re only a couple minutes late, and he said they were completely booked. They had had seven open appointments the night before. Terrible service and not a drop of empathy. Didn’t even pretend to act sorry they couldn’t help.

My package delivered ripped from sides and without some items(expensive food mostly). On my claim - received BS formal letter stated that they "cannot offer the opportunity to file a claim for reimbursement, because the package does not include any insurance".
So basically - any random hungry dude working in USPS can open non insured packages and steal food.
Avoid USPS - it is a scam.

They say your mail box is full in order to not deliver a package and it has nothing in it. Happens more often than not. Then when you try to call or reschedule your delivery nobody does anything to help you.

Ordered package from Amazon to be delivered to my house . Package was redirected by USPS to my PO Box and now they say it has to be sent out to the address and returned before it will be in my PO Box . I didn't contract with USPS for delivery when I give amazon a address the USPS shouldn't reroute my package that has time sensitive products in it to a po box that gets checked every two weeks when I'm in town . USPS should deliver to address on package from Amazon not where mail is delivered . Agent at desk wanted to tell me it's my fault . But I hand no control over USPS changing delivery location . The USPS did this on their own . The agent working this morning needs to work on her lies .

I wish I could rate zero stars, but since I have to give one I award it to the people at the desk; they are always helpful when I have to go in, which is good because my packages never get delivered so I end up there frequently. Delivery people, I award you no stars, which is equal to the amount of times you have actually knocked on my door to have someone sign for a package instead of just leaving a note. Also I tried to call and not only did nobody answer but the voice-mailbox is full (lol).
