Without a doubt, River City is the best place to see a show in Wheeling, West Virginia. A stunning multipurpose venue, complete with fantastic food, a large drink selection, great concert sound and the BEST bands that the Ohio Valley has to offer. Also a great place to grab a drink before and after a Wheeling Nailers Hockey game being just a half block away from Wesbanco Arena.

I attended a wedding reception here. The venue was beautiful and the food was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The venue was located on the second floor with an open center atrium with a bridge spanning the opening. It was beautiful.

Friendly staff, great food, awesome sweet tea, and fair prices. Steak was done to perfection!! Will definitely be back!

Sent my parents here for a special “date night” while they were in from out of town for a show at the Capitol. Made reservations in person and asked for it to be a special night. The restaurant and the waitress were AMAZING. They treated my parents like royalty and made their evening wonderful. Thank you and hats off to everyone at River City. ❤❤

Love river city, the staff and food always a great experience

The food here was great! We used River City to cater my daughters wedding. The staff were very professional. While I thought it was a little pricey. We were taken care of well from beginning to end. I would recommend River City.

We had our wedding at River City and it was truly the best decision. Not only were they highly accommodating and very affordable, the staff was a dream to work with. We had some issues with the former events manager and about three months before our wedding, we decided to drive over and talk to them in person to sort things out. Long story short, we found out that the previous events manager had abruptly left and all previously discussed information about our wedding was gone. We, of course, were anxious but before we could panic, Jay and Becky took care of EVERYTHING. In less than three months, they basically planned our wedding in full, from scratch. They worked around our schedule to let us decorate and bring in lots of decor and snacks, they made adjustments to food and drink that we specifically asked for, and they made sure our day ran smoothly and efficiently. It truly didn't even feel like anything had happened a few months prior. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful and accessible (great for family members with walking issues) and we loved that we were able to just head downstairs to the bar after the event was over. If we could do it all over again, we would absolutely choose River City to host our day!

This place is a gem for the Ohio Valley. Their food is great. Personally I always enjoy their wings. Their bartenders are personable and extremely friendly, Josh the manager, is legendary. They have great beers if you start off the path of Bud Light. 5 stars

We had River City cater our wedding and the experience was fantastic. They were very flexible with the menu options and the food was delicious. Many of our guests made a point of saying how delicious everything was. We definitely recommend River City.

River City is an excellent place to eat. The staff is great. I can't say enough good things about it. They have been very helpful the past several years hosting our event.

Good food and service. Unique atmosphere. Nice location. Opportunity for quick lunch or to visit second level and learn some history of Wheeling (and West Virginia.

My wife's cousin had her wedding reception here and had great food. We got here before wedding party arrived and had awesome french fries and drinks while playing a few rounds of pool down stairs . Staff was very friendly.

GREAT time New year's Eve party was awesome dinner buffet was great breakfast buffet after midnight was wonderful the DJ what is the best around. Everybody on the dance floor what a great time Johnny O and Joe McCutcheon

Went there for a graduation party .
We rented the top room . It isn’t very spacious but it’s enough if you plan on having a small reception.
The bathroom is clean enough , and the mirror is perfect for selfies lovers like me 🤩

Fun and classy atmosphere a great place just to hang out maybe grab a dinner or for special occasions they do catering and they rent out banquet halls they throw parties for special occasions like the New Year's Eve bash check them out

I’ve always had good meals and great dining experiences at River City. This is a great place to eat before a Nailers game or event at Wesbanco Arena.

Beautiful building, great bands and events, and friendly staff. There's a big selection of beers including seasonal beer and the food is always good. The banquet area is fantastic!
