Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

We were seated right away on a Monday morning. Customers picked up quite a bit while were were there. Our food came out quick and it was good. The granny omelet with hash browns and pancakes is my long time go to at Perkins. Our waitress (Allison maybe? Tall, black hair) was working her butt off and was checking on us for refills and anything else we might need. We were greeted and thanked by her and the hostess/cashier.

We had a lovely lunch out with the girls. The food was delicious. However, when I went to use the ladies room behaved the bakery… I walked through a wall of smoke! All those baked goods have smoke all over them!! I planned to buy something but I quickly changed my
Mind. I live w COPD & asthma. I’m an x smoker and I have the problems I have because I once smoked.

Our food was delicious and perfectly prepared. For what you pay, you definitely get nice portions and it's great tasting food. On top of that, our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Best service in a while! Definitely will be back soon!

Only two wait staff during a very busy Saturday dinner rush. They were great. The food is home style and yummy.

The service from everyone creates a wonderful & comfortable atmosphere. The server took amazing care of our table && the food came out quickly and was perfect. The overall experience here at Perkins in Wheeling was stunning and we can’t wait until we visit again!

Me and my business partner enjoyed a good meal after a hard day of work. I had a break fast plate eggs bacon and french toast and a bottomless cup of coffee. And really enjoyed a pre meal snack on a tasty cinnamon roll a whole lot better than I had expected.
I'd like to say that my French toast was a bit too soggy and I was bummed out. But the other was perfect. I will now know to request to make sure my French toast is well done not soggy from now on. My eggs were perfect and bacon was delicious.

My service from my server was spot on we left a good tip of 29%

My business partner had a lunch plate that he rather enjoyed with a bottomless cup of tea and milk just the only option was black tea. And not any other options. We were both given our own little cup of milk for our beverage.

And fortunately there was plenty of room for bobtail parking in and out.

Overall it was a good choice for our meals. But not a place we would like to come back to.

I apologize but it was not a good fit for our personal choice.

We eat here very often. We enjoy the food and the staff. Kiana, Gena, Heather and Tim to name a few are fantastic but all are great people. I would recommend this location to anyone.

They have great food and great service. Their Sprite tastes like fruit loops, but it'll grow on you. Now I show up regularly for its fruity taste

Everything in that bakery is delicious, but I can’t go a week without a slice of that peanut butter pie! If you haven’t tried it you are really missing out. Very nice servers as well

I recommend trying the hibachi shrimp skillet! Our server, Bailey, was a really good server. She was able to assist 5 tables all by herself and deliver great service by managing everyone’s needs.

Food and service were great. We had visited Oglebay to see the lights and were starved after sitting in traffic for a LONG time. We were so excited to find a Perkins and we were NOT disappointed.

Everything was amazing and our server was great. We never had to ask for anything, drinks were kept full, and the food was amazing. Will be back.

It was calm, clean, great food, great service. Really, no complaints. Even in an easy to find location.

Would recommend to anyone- whether it's for a quick bite or you're with the whole family. Service is great and friendly. They even know my name so it feels like I'm home when I am there.
Also the management is top tier. I've never had an issue but I've seen them in action with other customers and they always come away happy. And the restaurant is CLEAN. Bit plus.
Will be going back for sure and if you've never been id recommend you give it a try

9-9-2023. My lovely bride and I had the pleasure of dining at Perkins on National Road in Wheeling, West Virginia, for my Birthday lunch before going to Oglebay Park. Gene greeted and seated us. She also took care of us during the visit. Gene was a most delightful host and server today. She made us comfortable, offered drinks, gave us time to review the menu, and took our orders. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. My wife loves eggs benedict, and they had it! I love omelets and could choose two ingredients for my 55-plus omelet. I chose bacon and onion. We are blessed to be seniors, and Perkins has a wonderful senior menu at affordable prices. Gene checked on us several times to ensure we were happy with our meal and our drinks stayed full. Thanks, Gene, for making my 65th Birthday Lunch a fabulous experience. Thanks, Perkins, for having such an efficient, friendly, and welcoming person in your employ. I recommend this Perkins to family and friends.

Kiana is one of the Best Servers we have ever had. Great Service and Great Mangers.

They were very busy but they still got us serviced. And the food was good

My son and I went here as a prize for good behavior on his part and truly enjoyed our time. The waitress, Aliyah, was wonderful. The food was great! If you can, don't pass up the peanut butter silk pie. 10/10 will be back again to have Aliyah as our server/waitress.

If you leave there still hungry it's your own fault. Great food 👍
