Alfonso's Pizza

We choose Alfonso’s over & over again. There isn’t a bad choice on the menu, everything is excellent & always baked to perfection. Everyone is so welcoming- from placing a to-go order to dining in. The owners are so friendly & working hard alongside their employees. Alfonso’s is the best, hands down.

Always a Wonderful experience, It changed Ownership last year and it's still absolutely phenomenal. The staff are wonderful, the ingredients are always top notch year round. Such a pleasure to dine in or out.

Excellent pizza. Highly recommend. Pizzas come in small, medium or large. Also salads and subs on menu. Dine in or takeout. Get there early to avoid the rush.

Such a wonderful restaurant. Great staff. Great food. Clean. Beautiful interior. The pizza is excellent and the ingredients are fresh. Garlic Cheese Bread made with fresh baked bread.

My wife and I are driving 2 1/2 hours this morning for a calzone. They're the best!

We saw the reviews while on a weekend trip to the area to visit with friends. Since the ratings we're amazing, we decided to give it a try.
In short...it was amazing! All the reviews were correct. We had calzones and since they were huge, we each only ate half of ours and decided to take the rest home with us.
We have an electric icebox for travel and thought we'd try and get them home. We traveled 403 miles and every time we got a water from the icebox we could smell the wonderfulness.
I have to say...after 403 miles the calzones were still amazing! Their fresh ingredients made all the difference!
We look forward to traveling back and trying the other menu items.
Oh, on a side note....there is some wonderful Peruvian art in the walls and we would love to know the history of this place, so please share!

Owners Alfonso and Elena make this place feel like home. Trinkets and colorful Peruvian paintings bring the culture right to Carrollton. The pizza is spectacular! The sauce is flavored to perfection. The dough has a nice slight crunch while being soft to the bite. Not to mention the always fresh ingredients! However, pizza isn't the only food the establishment offers. Alfonso's makes great Peruvian and Chinese dishes as weekly specials. Check out the freindly establishment if you're in Carrollton, IL. It's worth every bite.

I had no idea that it was more than just pizza. The food was great. I had the speggetti and meatballs. My sister had a peruvian dish and my buddy had the pizza. Everything was so good.
The owner came out after we got our meal. He was so kind to my friend who was from africa. We all loved it. We are here for two more weeks. We will be going back on a regular basis.

Their monster pizza I'd to die for... They use so much cheese and toppings it makes my belly happy! They have great staff that always Greets you and the man himself Alfonso is a great family man! Love this facility and always have

I've been eating this pizza more than 30 years. The food has never once disappointed, and the owners are exceptional. I recently got to introduce the newest Alfonso's Pizza fan (pictured).

Stopped in for lunch today (Dec 2022) on my way through town. I went expecting to order pizza - as I'd heard their pizza was great. When I got there, I discovered the special of the day was Pad Thai (shrimp or chicken). What an odd special in an italian restaurant!!!!! It was absolutely delicious... and I've eaten Pad Thai all over the world (including Asia). This was up there with the best. Thanks for an enjoyable and memorable lunch. I'll be back for the pizza another day - unless of course you have some other seemingly out of place special.........

We are from Alton in Carrollton doing a paint job, the customer said we had to try Alfonso’s. What a great place! The owner comes out to your table and says hello, you just don’t get that kind of customer service anymore! Oh ya the food is amazing!!

Very good thin crust pizza. Great taste. Its only the second time I've been there but I will be back. Best pizza in Green County.

Some of the best pizza and customer service you will ever get. Small town, family owned and not over priced. If you enjoy pizza and a nice social restaurant, then you need to give Alfonso’s a try.

This is absolutely one of my ALL time favorites since I was a kid! THE original owners are like family to everyone in town.

I live in Tampa now, but find myself craving this pizza from afar. I stop in any chance I get. Plain cheese is my fav here, but you really can’t go wrong.

LOVE their deep dish pizza. Alfonso's is better than anything we have in KC! I love getting to visit and bring home a pizza (or two).
