I seen Dr. Childers on Monday, it's now Wednesday. He done a vasectomy on me, he was a bit loud, but I think that's just who he is. Nice guy, talked to me during the whole procedure. The only pain I felt during the procedure was the shot for numbness. Other than that, I watched him do the surgery. Talked me through the entire thing and we also talked about everything and anything else. Nice guy, if Wednesday and I'm not in a lot of pain and the only thing I took for the pain was ibuprofen. I can walk around fine, even though he said to be a couch potatoe. Told me what to do and what not to do. Told me what to expect during the healing process. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Childers to anyone.

He was very thorough in explaining the process and what would happen and what to expect, how long any discomfort and side effects would last and how to nullify the discomfort as best possible.

Answered any and all of my questions concerning the procedure.

Was in great pain for 3-5 days after surgery, but I was prescribed pain medication for it. After the 3-5 days the pain vanished as mentioned to me it would before we did the procedure.

If you're looking for vasectomy services, its quick, during the procedure is painful for a moment until the numbness sets in, and then discomfort and brusing for 3-5 days. After which everything is normal again.

He went into great detail before the surgery and great detail after with what I needed to do.

My fiancee had a vasectomy done..the pain was so bad when we left, he was screaming in pain before I could even get to Walgreens to fill a prescription for pain meds. The procedure was done on a Monday..he was in two diff hospitals that week due to serious infection. There was no after hours line..we left several messages with no returned calls. The following monday he got back into dr childers office and he accused my fiancee (the firefighter, emt and wonderful father of 5) of "shopping around for narcotics" because he had to go to a second hospital because the first one didn't do anything for him but take a quick look and send him on his way. I wouldn't recommend dr childers to ANYONE. Hes a terrible doctor and did absolutely nothing for the damage he caused during what was supposed to be an "easy procedure" I wish I could give this man 0 stars. He's awful.

I have never been in a more unprofessional situation in my entire life. I was told one thing on the phone, and another when I had my "appointment." I was then yelled at and berated by Childers for doing exactly what was asked of me by the office staff. I will receive my referral elsewhere, as I would not let that man anywhere near me or my family.

I was verbally talked down to with derision if my answers weren't up to his par. He wanted to catheterize me, but he was brutal and the pain was so great I ended the visit right then and there. I've seen a lot of doctors in my time and this was the first time I walked out!

Worst medical experience I have ever had. He was loud and aggressive. Demeaning against women. I honestly have no idea how he is still in practice. A horrible human being.
