Hidden treasure- Just off the interstate is a generic metal building in the middle of a gravel lot is a 9 table 45 seat little restaurant and barn run by a couple of Cajuns from Louisiana. Cherish is the owner and cook who is the sweetest. Every table has a shaker of cajun salt and Louisiana hot sauce. I ordered the Combo basket a sample of fish, shrimp, frog legs and gator. All deep fried with a bare minimum of crispy batter Just to taste everything I also got gumbo as well as red beans cooked with Louisiana sausage they travel to pick up. The gumbo is full of rich flavor. I didn't think it was spicy until my nose started to run and my body get warm and tingling. Cherish gave me a taste of her whole red potato salad which was so full of hard boiled eggs it was almost egg salad which was perfectly balanced to go with my smoky gumbo.

Combination basket is awesome! We also tried the gumbo, onion rings, fried pickles. Every thing is excellent! The GPS has you turning left off of Cross St going by the Post Office, turn right instead, you can actually see it from Cross Street

Great food! We went there on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky to get to meet the owners/cooks. They make the food fresh and it is great! The special sauce is really good, so be sure to ask for it especially if you are ordering sea food. It was our first time so we got a bunch of food to try and all of it was great, I would especially recommend the frog legs and alligator. We can’t wait to return!

Good food. I had the combination basket, the frog legs and alligator were excellent! Girlfriend had the catfish and equally thought the food was great. Owner was very friendly as well. Delicious, unique place to eat if you're in the area.

The food was fantastic. They deserve more business. They serve very interesting things and I will definitely be getting fish again. The service was great as well and the owner was extremely nice. I definitely recommend eating here.

Food was good, prices were reasonable, sweet tea was delicious. Staff and owners were friendly. The menu has something for just about everyone. I think it would be a great idea to add something light, like a Cajun style grilled chicken breast.

Great Food and good people . We had fried Alligator and Gumbo. If you want authentic down home cooking, this is your place. Loved it!

Both times I've been in have been great. Staff is very friendly and check to make sure you have everything you need. Kids really liked the churros and shrimp basket. The pizza was great

Fabulous deep fried shrimp and ALLIGATOR!!! Going back tomorrow for the alligator pizza. Low prices: about 50% lower than I expected.
