Dainty Maid Food Hall & Event Space

If you are in South Bend, Indiana… it is a must to stop in to check-out the Dainty Maid Food Hall!!!

We had a party of nine, and they were very accommodating. Some people in our group wanted breakfast and some wanted lunch and this was a great place to go.

The food was exceptional with many different options to choose from!! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was inviting.

There was flexibility on ordering. You can order from your table using the QR code or by walking up to the counter and placing your order. It is definitely a place to check out!! LOVED IT! ❤

This was the most wonderful experience ever! The service was amazing. We had a small ripple of disturbance that occurred in our food, but they instantly came and helped us out! Refunded our whole meal and gave us a new one! I couldn’t have ask for a better experience for my meal. The food was absolutely delicious!! Thankyou so much for this wonderful experience, I will further recommend this to any others that are in the area.

We showed up 10 minutes before they closed. They let us order and eat out food there. The food came quickly and were large portions. Everyone was great. Will go back again.

Came here at about 10:30 am on a Friday. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The service was efficient and the food was really good. I thought their offerings were a little out of the ordinary in a good way, and unique compared to what most nearby restaurants offer. I really have nothing bad to say. If I was a local this would become a regular spot for me.

Good food, ordering is exclusively through your phone. They get busy sometimes, but the drinks and food are worth the wait

Dainty Maid never disappoints! Every vendor knocks it out of the park. I love to experience a variety and share plates when dining with family and friends. Even when they are busy, they always do their best to seat you quickly and comfortably. Their staff is incredibly good-spirited and professional. I have also hosted a holiday work party here and all our employees said it was their favorite we have had in years. The Dainty Maid Team ran the bar and venue details. All catering was done by The Beard & The Boss. 10/10 on all fronts!

This venue has been a popular spot long before I've started coming here but there's a good reason behind it. The venue is clean, has a great vibe, relaxing music and friendly wait staff. It's the perfect spot in the downtown South Bend area where you can grab a quick bite to eat or relax with friends over afternoon libations.

A dining hall with a unique idea. You can order from any of the restaurants, coffee shops or bakeries that inhabit the hall and the food is brought to your table. And the variety is surprising; you can get your coffee and breakfast sandwiches on the go but the Dainty Maid Food Hall also has breakfast ramen available to fulfill any sodium cravings first thing in the morning. So that's exactly what I ordered; one oat milk and honey coffee with a savory bowl of breakfast ramen.

The coffee was presented by the waitress/barista in an appealing mug complete with the milk froth leaf design. Honey drizzled on the side with graham cracker bits created a delicious cup of coffee. Sweet, strong and a pick me up to start the day.

The breakfast ramen has everything a growing boy needs to cured a morning hangover. Braised pork belly, noodles meant to be slurped, marinated mushrooms, bok choy cooked just right to retain the crunch, broth that I could drink every day and a fried egg to complete this dish. The biggest highlight though are the soup dumplings. Filled with flavor, the soup dumplings was the biggest delight; I only wished there was more.

If you couldn't tell, I enjoy the Dainty Maid Food Hall every time I come to South Bend for a business trip. It's a gem of an eatery in this college town. If you're a local, you probably know about what the venue has to offer but if you're visiting Notre Dame, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Update: went back and tried more items from these fantastic vendors. Still haven't tried anything that I didn't love.

Stopped by for the first time this past Sunday, and I'm a little mad I waited so long to try this place out. I started with a Skogamaor from A Roaster Called Revenant that I sipped on while reading through the other menus. I then got the Bulgogi Beef Burrito from The Beard & The Boss which I have been craving ever since. I've already made plans to return this weekend because it really was one of the best meals I've had, the staff was incredibly nice and I love the atmosphere and concept.

It was not quite what I was thinking for atmosphere but was very nice. Food was amazing and had an amazing Irish coffee. The gentleman behind the bar, Andreas (I hope I spelled that right) was very helpful and very friendly and nice. He also makes one hell of an Irish cream coffee.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and especially Smashed. By far the best burger I have ever had. Cooked perfectly and all of the flavors complement each other. The garage sauce is fantastic and the garlic aoli has great garlic creamy flavor. I’m looking forward to trying everything on the Smashed menu as well as the other vendors. Highly recommended

Completely new experience. There are 5 vendors from which to order. Order on your phone from any or all vendors and they print it out to you. Place was full, but we did find seating. Food and coffee was top notch. Burrito from The Beard & The Boss was huge and the flavors amazing. Pour over from Revenant Coffee was perfect. Must try the beard tots. They were crispy and tasted great.

I love everything about this space! I love the mobile ordering using the QR code at your table, I love the variety options because the space holds so many different restaurants, and I love the ease of service and payment. I come here as a treat because I always spend $20+ on a meal here but you can definitely spend less if you want. My fav shop here is definitely a roaster called revenant! Street parking only, as far as I know they don’t have a lot. Bathrooms and wifi available!

My husband and I stayed at a nearby hotel the Saturday before Easter and were looking for coffee on the way out of town. Everything was closed except The Revenant Coffee Bar (which I took as the universe winking at us). We had no idea what the Dainty Maid Food Hall was. We walked in expecting to get a quick coffee to go. And while that is totally an option, we were greeted by such friendly staff that really pulled off the whole "we love being here!" thing, that we felt compelled to have a seat and look over all of the options. And the options seemed limitless! The process of ordering and paying was very easy and completely at our own pace. I started with a ginger and turmeric breve latte with honey that delighted my tastebuds and killed my hangover! We decided to have a few bites to eat and stay a while. My husband teased me for ordering a boring bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich until he saw that it was no ordinary sandwich! Everything we had was delicious and I could not stop myself from getting a 2nd latte to go. We live about 45 minutes away and this is 100% worth driving to the next time my girlfriends and I plan a brunch date. Or, you know, just by myself next weekend with a book.

Drinks & food were excellent. The drinks are the Bonfire & Strawberry Mocha.

Note: There are no menus, you order and pay through your phone. You can order from multiple vendors all at the same time. I'd call it a vendor co-op space.

Freaking LOVE this place. The owners are fabulous and everyone is so kind. The atmosphere is great for brunch with friends but I also enjoy coming here to work in the mornings.

This place is as good as it gets! It is a food hall so you’re mostly ordering with a QR code on your phon. The range of dishes is incredible. I’ve had their bibimbap and Italian stallion and both were great! Make sure you get the Hong Kong French toast which was pry the best French toast I’ve ever had! Their coffee was also amazing!

I had a Bulgogi Burrito it had steamed short grain rice, snap peas, carrots, summer squash, sprouts, bok choy, fried egg, Gochujang sauce, furikake seasoning and Bulgogi beef. It was so dang good, the Gochujang sauce made all the flavors pop. I also had a side of crispy potatoes which were yum.

DELICIOUS!! Wow the foods really good here. Servers are busy but friendly and make time. I meant to take a photo of my el pastor bowl but it was so good I forgot and devoured it. Yum!

Really great spot! Such a neat idea to make a food hall! Great food for breakfast lunch and dinner, I definitely want to go back to try their smash burgers!😆

You order digitally through an online menu from the multiple restaurants. They each make their part of the order and it's all brought out to your table.
