Kennekuk Cove County Park

It was a beautiful well signed place. It was easy to tell where we were going! It has picnic spots, and an old historic town, and an herb garden. One could spend all day here!

It was beautiful and amazing. I loved the trails. The paths where very noticeable. Spent a little time there just wish we had more time.

An open-air museum is very cool if you want to experience the real America! I felt like I traveled to the past! Thanks to the ladies who run the historical buildings I’ve learned a lot about the life people had in the past.

Very great place to get some fresh air, lots of different pond, nice hiking trail also

Nice place to take in a trail or find a fishing hole. Lots of area to camp, cookout, or let kids play as well.

A pleasant place to connect with nature. The historic buildings area was kinda cool too.

We enjoy using the buildings here. We have all our family parties here. We have been renting them for the past 5 years. They have reasonable rates, clean buildings, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. My Son and Daughter in Law was Married here. Awesome Place.

I've always loved this park. It's nice and peaceful and you get to see all the sights and sounds of nature. Love seeing all of the wildlife that you normally don't see everyday. We were out there today for the Education Personnel Federal credit Union picnic. It was a nice token of appreciation for all of the members and staff. Just wish that the weather would have cooperated.

Beautiful park with many trails. One trail goes around Lake Mingo. Others have views of the Vermillion river. The Bunker Hill area has historic houses which can be visited in the summer on Sundays.

Kennekuk is a great park. There is so much to do here. Cook outside, trails, fishing, hiking, biking. It is kid friendly. They have a bathroom with plumbing (by the train car). Its a great place to spend the day

Nature's beauty at its finest. Love the county park plenty spots for cook outs with 👪. Trails to walk ponds to fish and lookout spots to just sit and enjoy the outdoors.

Beautiful scenery. More of a prarie style setting. Great trails for hiking or just a walk. Usually always some type of activity durring the summer season. Also a old timey town set up with a general store, church, and school from the horse and wagon days, only open durring certain times. They also have great christmas lights durring the holidays.

Great park with lots to do including hiking, boating, and fishing. Definitely check out the area called "Bunker Hill" for a look back at how towns looked in this area a hundred years ago. Very cool!

Beautiful, hiked a couple trails. Just needs more activities!

people of Vermilion County Illinois are very lucky to have so many parks and especially Kennekuk. Our group enjoyed the walk in the park and a nice luncheon with a great atmosphere.

One of my favorite parks nearby my house. I have spent many many weekends walking the lake mingo trail.

I went to this park a lot when I was growing up around Danville. I enjoy going back for a family reunion each year.
