One of the best trail systems in Illinois

Up and down trails with a few spicy areas to keep it interesting. Definitely enough trails to get a solid workout. The "Playground" has some fun jumps and drops, especially for beginners looking to build skills. It's become a regular stop on my trips back home to central Illinois.

Clean trailhead with nice markings and signage, a fair amount of great parking, a small shelter, a one person out house / changing station, a trash receptacle, and maybe even a little bit of 120V power? It looks like the people who take care of this place do an amazing job. Only thing the trailhead could really use is a taco truck. Nonetheless, I will be back!

We wanted a cool winter hike and this place delivered! Not going to lie, we fell a lot on the ice and butt scooted down several hills but it was hilariously fun. I can't wait to see what it looks like on the spring. We did about 6 miles through trails 2, 3, 4, session, 8, to HR.

It's a nice state park , with a lot of hiking and biking trails. And there is also a nice, clean campground with many lots and some are right up a hill from one of the many lakes in the park, and there is even a river that runs through the park. It's nice just to stroll through the park and look at the deer or other wildlife in the park. I camp there every summer with the family and have a great time going out on the trails or going fishing, or canoe and paddleboat rentals. Go there with your family or by yourself and have a great time.

You'd never know you're on the flat prairie of Central Illinois! Many options for all skill levels; some very challenging descents and climbs. Great views, incredibly well-maintained system wide. Kickapoo is the crown jewel of Vermilion County, IL and the bike trails are a big part of that!

Fun was had by all. A really nice range of natural wooded dirt trails with "rugged" truly "scary" 😳all the way to mild. Avoid rainy days for the mud and the park asks you not to run the mud sections to avoid damaging them. Everything from gravel to clay to tree roots and narrows, man made bridges, berms and serious downhill ravines...heaven and hell. You've been warned.

Super mountain biking!! Trails 1-5 are for any level. Hood for beginners and fun for experts. The other trails are probably the most technical in central Illinois. Worth the 2hr drive

It's rated as one of the best mountain biking trails in Illinois. I believe they are right. They have a lot of trails with increasing difficulty. However, it can be very muddy so be careful

Now first.off I'm a dirt bike rider but also ride mountain bike. I almost had as much fun here as riding my dirt bike. ( don't tell my friends) really I had a blast if I'm passing back through will stop again. Thanks to everyone how works on these trails. I saw no trash on the trails, hats off to the ppl riding these trails.

While the Intermediate and Expert level trails are great, the Novice loops are the most fun.

Amazing trails for central Illinois. They are well maintained and have something for everyone. It is easy to forget that you are in central Illinois.
