JD's Truck & Liquor Stop

I help maintain a fleet of six large delivery trucks. We needed a place to get them washed regularly and found JD's. The guy who runs the truck was has given us exceptional service at a fair price for the past few months now and we plan on continuing to be a consistent customer, washing multiple trucks a week. Five stars, highly recommended.

First time here, I sew paid parking outside, so I ask the cashiers as long as you spend $20 in the diner/bar or in the store all together free parking. Can't brat that. The Reuben sandwich I ordered is pretty damn good

Parking lot has been fixed, the big potholes are no more, the bathroom and showers have been updated

We had a leaf spring break on our toy hauler camper. They had us drive right in,fixed quick and on our way. Very kind, professional and fair. Thank you. I hope you enjoyed the cherry pie

Everyone was so nice. Shower 5 takes quite a while to get the hot water going but im just grateful for a clean shower.
The food is off the chain. Meatloaf was fantastic. Nice portions and fresh. Thank you everyone for continuing to serve us Truckers. 🤗

Charge for parking but the store and restaurant are well stocked with good prices and food. $20 at the diner or store gets you a free night.

Staff were all friendly and service was great at the diner.

Shower was small but clean. Could provide slightly better towels. The ones I got were threadbare rags that looked like they had been retired from a pilot long ago and a beach towel. They were "clean" but stained from heavy use.

Literally my favorite place to stop in the area. The diner has great affordable food and the staff is always friendly. Also I have it on good authority that Anthony is the best glass seller in the area.

Restrooms and showers are immaculately clean! I have NEVER seen such maintained cleanliness at a truck stop. Diner is adorable and classically American down to the servers and skilled chef. The staff are fun, friendly, happy to be there and oh so funny.
There is also just about everything you could need while traveling or just relaxing. The parking lot is very safe and patrolled by local, county and state police...making it family friendly.

The owner is uniquely handsome, professional and accumulated to local culture. Even the music elevated my mood.
The smoothies, sandwiche, calzones and even local wine selection make the place stand out as far as product offering.

I will def be stopping through when I travel home.

Amazing new parking lot, clean facilities, great variety of snacks, breakfast and lunch and I look forward to seeing and interacting with their friendly staff.

Stopped for breakfast this morning. The place was very busy and had only one person working the floor. One person taking orders, serving, clearing tables and working the till is absolutely too much for one person. You have an extraordinarily dedicated person in Wendy!! She deserves a vote of thanks and a raise or bonus...maybe both!!

Update : January 18, 2021.

Scraggly person has moved on and there is now a clearly seen, laminated sign on the door into the convenience store.

12$ a night for parking.
20$ in fuel a day for 1 day free
50$ in fuel a week for the week free

I've been parking here for years, and until today parking was free. My door was knocked on by a scraggly person holding a clipboard and a kid holding a flashing triangle.

Was informed there was now a 12$ overnight fee to park here. No signs on the doors, none inside. I called the attendant inside after waving away the person and was told, "Yes, its 12$. I'm not sure when it was put into place I've only been here since December."

I dont mind paying for parking. But when there's no signs anywhere saying it and I've been parking free for years, I kinda feel like I'm being had.

3 stars because they've updated everything inside, minus 2 stars for lack of signage and information on paying for parking.

If signs appear at a later date I'll update my review, but for now I'm moving on.

Young attendant with brown hair working in the evening on Easter was amazing. Actually cares about the customers and went more than above and beyond!!

Had an issue with motorhome. They got me in in 5 minutes and out in less than an hour! Great service, reasonable price.

Service was friendly and superb !
I didn't care for the lettuce in the dinner salad. It was not iceberg lettuce. It was very chewy and leafy, very green and dried out. Waitress noticed that I didn't eat much of it and asked if she could bring something else in place of it. I chose the coleslaw which was quite tasty. I ordered the meatloaf dinner, mashed potatoes and gravy with corn as the vegetable choice. A very fresh, hot and tasty dinner roll was served with real butter. The corn was also served with real butter, quite tasty. I chose to drink ice water and my glass never got below half full prior to being refilled.
The meatloaf was quite gooey and more like chunky tomato soup. Waitress noticed that upon serving the meatloaf. She asked me if I would care to try it because she said that it looked different than usual. I tasted it and was not at all impressed. She noticed, immediately she returned it to the kitchen and asked for my second choice. I opted for the pot roast which was served quickly, hot and very tasty. Much to my surprise I was given a choice of dessert on the house to make up for the meatloaf mistake. I highly recommend this eatery. The waitress made it a very pleasant dining experience.

Amazing truck stop with everything you need right at your fingertips! The diner was delicious and the store had all the supplies needed. The new owners were really friendly and welcoming, will definately come back!

The employees were very nice and courteous a lot of parking if you don’t mind a dirt lot for big trucks the food was amazing it’s home cooked not like what you would find in a bigger truck stop they have showers for $8 $10 if don’t have anything (soap shampoo ect) it’s $12 for parking unless you spend $20 in the store or restaurant but for us it’s worth it the food was good they also have a repair shop and C-store when we come back through will be stopping here again

Went in for breakfast. It was very good food. The atmosphere and employees we're wonderful. Did some souviner shopping inside the store. Looks fantastic with the new make over.

I come here because JD and myself have a running bet. I see how much hot bar food I can steal and if I don't get caught he keeps stocking the Buffalo chicken cheddar torpedos on the hot roller. If he catches me (he hasn't) I'll tell him where his wife is buried.

13/10 excellent service.
