Nauti Inn Barstro

I had a wonderful first time here at the Nauti Inn Bistro. The service was phenomenal, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back again!

The only picture I got last might was of my wonderful spiked Lilac lemonade. It was so good!

My boyfriend and I stopped in on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It was pretty empty at 5pm when we arrived. We had an incredible experience. We started with the smoked whitefish dip and we both loved it. Neither of us had tried smoked whitefish dip and didn’t know what to expect but it was so good. We then split the burrata salad and again so flavorful and fresh. I had the Tuscan pasta and my boyfriend had the flat iron steak. My pasta was creamy and slightly spicy but the two complemented each other. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal but his steak was overcooked. He had asked for medium rare and there was no pink to be found. But overall we really enjoyed ourselves!!! Added bonus the drinks were really well priced. A cocktail ran about $8.

Experience - 5 stars - would come back again! Small location, but staff was super friendly and responsive. Food was good; brussel spouts were a little undercooked, but the steak was phenomenal. Games are available during wait, making it family-friendly for older children (8+). Drinks were wonderful, I would recommend stopping in after a long day!

Amazing dinner! The new menu is delicious, especially the whipped ricotta app, and pistachio pesto with burrata entree. Zach our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We also went on a Thursday which is half price wine bottle night, a great deal on nice wines. Highly recommend swinging in.

Local gem - first time here and wasn’t sure what to expect from a “Barstro” pleasantly surprised! Great vibe inside and there is some Outside tables too. Best Mojito I’ve had in years!!!! The food was extremely tasty and more upscale than expected. Highly recommend the zucchini with whipped ricotta.

We haven't been here un awhile and we're SO GLAD to revisit this lovely restaurant. The food was amazing. We had tapas- meatballs, risotto, mushrooms & crostini. Just delicious then a pumpkin spice cake which was to die for! Went well with a nice bottle of Cabernet & a shot of bourbon. Great waitress too. Can't wait to go back!

Where do I even begin!! They were open right at 4 as we walked up. We walked in and we were greeted by a very sweet lady. (I recommend calling for a reservation) she only had 3 tables left open the others were a reservation. She seated us and we looked through the menu and she came back to take our drink order. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and she made it from scratch and not a mix and man was it delicious I also ordered her jalapeño margarita and that is a MUST HAVE! I ordered the Brussel sprouts and the smoked fish flat bread. James ordered the stuffed pasilla peppers and pear and bre flat bread. (I may have spelled those wrong.) Everything we ordered was amazing!. Another large group had came in and that lady didn't flinch she was busy but kept a smile on her face. Another waiter came on and was running around cleaning tables off. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our dinner and will probably make another trip down just for dinner.

Sat at the bar for a solo dinner. I enjoyed the nautical theme throughout the bar and the 80's yacht rock that played during my stay was just what I needed. The bartender, Sharon, was friendly and greeted me right away with menus. I ordered a Bees Knees to start and it was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. I was a bit on the fence about the pimento burger, but went for it. It did not disappoint - it was cooked the way I requested and the pimento was on point and not overwhelming. If you're thinking about the pimento burger, don't over think it - order it, you won't regret it. I'd go out of my way to come back the next time I'm in the area.

Great place to get a drink and a bite to eat. I had the whitefish tacos. They were very good, and the portions were sized right.

We started with ahi tartar spoons and the had the scallops and asparagus. Finished with raspberry cake. Everything came out fast and cooked to perfection, or in the case of the ahi not cooked to perfection lol. Would highly recommend this place for a date night and a good cocktail.

Went here for my anniversary, the hours are great, the food is even better. I ordered carnitas frescas, and it was one of the best meals I've had in Cheboygan! Clearly in house food, and fresh ingredients! There are absolutely no complaints about the meal, and the atmosphere is also great, the decorations are really nice, it looks clean and there is a clear theme. Nautical! The people are also very nice, the wine expert, Sharon gave me a great wine suggestion and was very nice, and my waitress, Lyn was also very nice, and neither made me feel like I wasn't a stranger which I appreciate. One of the best places to go in Cheboygan for sure, a must stop!

We walked in on a Thursday night and there was a 3-piece band playing jazz. What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was fun and lively. I was happy to see the beer list carried Avery Lilikoi. My sister enjoyed her French martini & mom happily sipped on the Laker martini cuz it was on the sweeter side.
We ordered the Brie and seasonal fruit flatbread, Margherita flatbread and green beans. The quality of each dish was apparent. We were extremely happy with our orders. Ordered a 2nd Margherita flatbread. Highly recommend.

Mike was the absolute best server! If you are in Cheboygan this is a great place to eat! The owner came and talked to us several times and gave us a bundle of their fresh mint for mojitos! Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed in Cheboygan for a few days. Stopped in here for dinner and I was very pleased. The whitefish tacos were delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and calm. We will come back before heading home. Thank you!

We go there for dinner a few times each summer (including last night!) and we are lucky to have such a great restaurant in Cheboygan. It has a great feel: friendly, beautiful, not pretentious. The menu (available online) is not large but it is still interesting, including some smaller plates as well as large entrees, and the food is very high quality. The service is friendly and professional (our server last night, Mike, was very personable; we've been served by Zach and he is great too). FIVE STARS. Ooh, also, the bar is bustling and looks like a great place to stop in and have a drink.

My wife and I enjoyed our tapas with beer and wine finishing with raspberry cake. Service and food were excellent. Highly recommended for an outstanding experience.

Hidden gem, amazing food, extensive drink and wine list, and great ambiance. The chef and team are simply rock stars. SO nice to have such unique dishes and tapas to choose from (with the freshest ingredients)... Our new fav in the area for sure!

We’ve been to this restaurant two years in a row now. It has yet to let us down. The food is phenomenal, especially for a small town. And it has an impressive bar selection that is bound to leave the whiskey enthusiast satisfied. Unless things change I will be continuing to patronize this establishment every year.
