Hey guys. Just wanted to give a big shout out. Rain or shine I can always depend on you guys to deliver my mail. The lady that delivers to abrahamson road is really nice. Always on time. Always has a smile and a wave. Keep up the good work.

This is a great Postal location!!! The employees are professional and kind. Angela is a great employee there. She really knows her stuff and is extremely friendly and kind. She will always answer any questions anyone might have. And is extremely smart and knowledgeable. I wish there where more people like her in the post office

I just want to say that most people have no idea what this job entails. Some people think that we just ride around putting the right mail in the right boxes. But it's not all that easy. We each have 400 to 500 hundred customers on each route. We have a couple hundred packages a day. We have to deal with a lot of people never cleaning out their boxes, so we can even get close to them, and yet they have the nerve to put outgoing mail in them and expect us to somehow pick it up. And we cannot get out of our car 500 times a day to get to the boxes or put the car in park 500 times a day so we can hang out the window to reach the box. So if anyone out there wants to complain, I invite you to come and try it, and I guarantee you will quit on the first day, as many have already done! If you need to complain, then come get a job at the postal severice, and I guarantee you, you will have a whole new respect for what we do!

Every day on my way to work, I stop at the Cheboygan Post Office to pick up the mail in the box. The boxes are probably from the 1800s and involve a spinning lock with a star alphabet configuration that is really cool. If I am on time, I see the same people every day and it's good to get to know everyone. My favorite days are when the lobby is filled with chirping, and I know the chicks have arrived by the box and are on their way to the feed store. Great, polite, helpful staff who know your name.

They are fast, helpful and easy. Petty thing such as a sliver of tape arent an issue here if u need it like at the Petoskey post office.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful service at ALL times. I just wish every post office were this efficient and effective.

Anytime I have business to deal with in here they're so super nice. I'm in and out of there and customer service is top notch!

They have now resorted to withholding my medications. Its highly disturbing that the post office can withhold medication, tax papers, etc. I would give zero stars if that was an option. After living at my house for the last 4+ years, and my neighbor for the last 60+, they want us to move our mailboxes a mile away from our house, on to a busy road, for the convenience of the mail carrier. Our mailbox flag has been broken by the mail carrier several times after hanging packages from it and each time we superglued, or replaced it, they broke it again. After we stopped fixing the flag, our packages were just tossed in the ground, even though we left a hook on the post for packages to be hung from. Because we are unwilling to move the boxes to a busy road (yet willing to compromise on moving them to more convenient location for the mail carrier), they have chosen to stop delivering all mail and packages. NOT RIGHT!!

I was getting a package delivered today and it didn’t come. And about an hour later there was a notice on my shipping app that said attempted delivery which there never was one. I’ve been home all day. And now I have to wait until after someone’s birthday to get them their gift because the post office “redelivery” says I have to wait until the first to go retrieve it. Outrageous. This package wasn’t supposed to be signed for in the first place.

Had an order that I was shown to be out for delivery but never showed up. Instead I got a paper saying that the delivery was attempted and the recipient was not home. I have been home the entire day without hearing a knock. They did not try to deliver it whatsoever and I know that no one was at the door. I have dogs that like to bark when they hear someone and they didn’t make a noise so I would know if someone tried to deliver something.

For years, this post office has been incompetent. They’ve proven to be so yet again. Package guaranteed delivery before 2100 LAST NIGHT is still not there. The postmaster does not care. Cheboygan Post office, where incompetence goes to retire.
