Great place to have brunch! They kept the coffee coming without me having to ask for refills. My meat lovers skillet was great, and the breakfast potatoes were nice and crispy. Love it.

Great food, staff and Nicole the owner is the best! Everything is great but try the apple fritter french toast! Wait...the Greek salad! Oh, the salmon! Just keep going back!

Amazing food for a very cheap price for the portion, best country fried steak iv had and I couldn't even finish it all, not bad for a 11 dollar dinner!

This place was fantastic. It was a short wait and well worth it. I had the breakfast burrito, and it was excellent.

Warm fluffy eggs, crispy tortilla shell, it was honestly mouthwatering. It's a good place to get a quick, cheap bite and it's always delicious.

Also the atmosphere is very calming.

Although it can be busy on the weekends, the food and service are excellent here. I personally suggest the apple fritter or cinnamon bun French toast. Best of Oxford establishment!

5-1 diner has such good food! Their Greek salad is the best! And their catering is so good! Ordered for my daughters open house and my gosh! Nicole went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Every detail was thought of right down to squirt bottles for the sauces for our kabobs. Thank you Nicole for providing such caring and awesome food service for our community! 😘😘💛💙💛💙

Best. Diner. Ever. Our whole family LOVES the food. We’ve tried so many different dishes and have never not liked it. During quarantine we ordered family style pan dinners several times and they were all amazing. Nicole and her family/staff are incredibly involved in the community and customer service has ALWAYS been top notch!

Have ordered and ate in, last couple of times, it was a to go. We did the fish and chips. Their fish is awesome and the fries crispy. The coleslaw is not an afterthought, in its own container. Definitely, we will be going back, they are a few miles out the way, worth the inconvenience.

I haven't gotten one bad situation or meal from here yet, and I've been ordering (carry out only) for almost a year now.
The fruit they serve is completely fresh and cut on the spot.
The Greek salad is delicious plus I love the Greek dressing that comes with it.
I would recommend this diner to anyone simply for the accuracy alone, not to mention the kindness they provide.

This was my first visit. We came for lunch. I had the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggies. It was delicious. The turkey was real carved turkey, not lunch meat. The gravy brought it all home. True comfort food. I would go back anytime. Loved it. The inside is cozy too.

Was visiting friends in town from San Francisco and stopped in for breakfast. Food was fresh and tasty! Most importantly the service was great. I had an omlette and the kids had pancakes. Everyone left happy, including me and my wallet. We'll be back when we visit again.

Very clean and excellent menu and food options. The owner takes the time to know her customers and will make sure every customer leaves happy, full and satisfied. It's rare to find a business owner as compassionate and caring as Nicole. I feel welcomed and honestly have a sense of walking into a family member's home when I walk into 5-1. From what I see, the employees are happy and well taken care of, which makes for pleasurable service. Everything on the menu is amazing, there's nothing that isn't made with a hometown taste! Best restaurant for miles and worth the drive from anywhere in the area.

The food and service are always excellent here. The portions are large. Nicole and the staff are friendly and give great service.

We cannot say enough good about Nicole's place. We are never disappointed. We enjoy eating here no matter which meal it is.

Fantastic. Great food wonderful staff and the owner is out front working to ensure everything is to you liking.
It has been quite some time since we've seen such a smooth running staff.
Everyone wants you to enjoy you visit.
We tipped the cooks because the food was so good and picture perfect.
We were in town for 3 days and we ate here twice.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly service from an independent diner. Support this restaurant because the quality of the product for the price.

The food is cooked front and center, no secret cooking in the back in some secret back room.

I enjoy coffee and I am super picky. The coffee is excellent. A good corn beef hash is difficult to find. If you like that dish, you must simply visit for this single breakfast item. Lots of green pepper and onions over potatoes with 3 eggs on top and my preference of dry rye.

Them there is ice cream, yummy!
