I would give Nicole ten stars if I could!! I came here to buy my first dress shoes, and she was so helpful in my finding a pair I liked in the right size. Since I have small and wide feet, getting shoes in the right size is always an issue, much less from stores that specialize in men's shoes, but it was a painless process here, which I attribute both to Allen Edmonds' excellent selection and especially to Nicole's assistance.

I came to pick up the shoes with my partner, who came in with me without particular interest in getting anything herself, but left excited to come back to get shoes of her own sometime. The assistance makes a huge difference. I would definitely recommend this store to any woman interested in men's shoes.

As somebody with wide feet, it is often difficult to find my right size. Nicole and Wyatt have been very helpful in recommending styles and sizes.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes this past weekend and was helped by Dave. This was by far one of the best shoe purchasing experiences I’ve ever had. Dave worked to help me understand which type of shoe I wanted and provided an objective opinion on which shoes I should look at. He was not pushy at all and really cared to help me find the right fitting shoe. He educated me on the Allen Edmond products as well! I have wide feet, and have found it hard to find the right fitting shoe, Dave provided great insight and expert opinion to help me find the right shoe. I love the product, and the service I had here was wonderful. Denise was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful above and beyond any normal standard. I have had nothing but great experiences at this store. James and Veronica greet me by name, remember what I have purchased and the styles I like. They always go the extra mile to make sure I am pleased with what I purchased before and after the sale.

When I have quality problems (although very few) they never challenge the issue or make excuses. They provide the right solution quickly. You don't get this from the big retailers.

I come back because they make it hard not too.

This location is far superior to Newbury Street. On Newbury, the salesman had an attitude like my questions were inconveniencing him and when I asked if they could order an out-of-stock model so I could try it on before buying his answer was "I wish." At State Street Eva answered the same question "of course" and beyond that she was totally helpful and accommodating. I ended up making my purchase at State Street and I will be shopping there from now on rather than Newbury Street.

No other place in Boston will work as hard to get you (men's) shoes that fit perfectly. Superb product with fair, but still high, prices.

Eva is awesome; knowledgeable, friendly and will put you in a great pair of shoes.

This company makes the best mens shoes. Friendly salesman, and didn't feel pushed to buy.
