Wonderful little small-town cafe we stopped at on our way through town. Great food, nice service, clean bathroom. Small gift shop area in the corner.

The Country Steak n Gray I had was made with love. Seasoned perfect with nice amounts of very tasty sausage. Most I have had is very bland with no taste. This is not the case! Can't wait to go back. Along with that Hash browns cooked perfectly, Crispy, buttery and creamy on the inside. Sunny side eggs cooked perfect! On top of my food I couldn't believe my wife and Father-n-laws Omelets.

The amount of food is normally more than 1 person can eat. The food is exceptional. Would recommend AJ's if you want alot of food as well as great tasting food.

Small hometown feel. Food was amazing! Large portions and great service definitely reccomend an omlete but everything is good! Only minutes from the interstate.

This is a very nice cozy small town restaurant with nice people and good food at reasonable prices. I felt very welcome there and enjoyed the simple breakfast I had. Overall the experience is what makes small town living such a good experience. I can't speak to their entire menu but I imagine that everything is good, properly prepared and affordable. I definitely go back anytime I pass through.

This is our family's favorite diner! We come here year after year on our annual fishing and camping trip. The service and food are always great! We'll continue to come here year after year!

I wish I had taken a picture. I always think of it too late. I had a delivery about 6 miles further into town. I saw AJ:s on my way through and made a point to remember. The parking area was packed and told me it was a local hot spot to eat. Boy was thought correct.
I got the Denver omelet. My favorite breakfast selection. It's was not only the most beautiful omelette ever. It was the most flavorful. I could taste every ingredient individually.
If I am ever in the area again. You can bet I'll be stopping in. If I can get a parking space.
By the way, my daughter loves the earrings.
I am so glad your restaurant survived COVID.
It's a very warm, inviting, home town friendly feel.

Very quick service Food was delicious

Just a great small town Minnesota diner. Like many similar restaurants the hours are 6 am to 2 pm, obviously catering to breakfast, brunch and lunch. A sign in the window says “Hiring cooks , servers and dishwashers.” There appeared to be one server, one cook and one busser working today, they were all busy but got things done efficiently and the food quality was very good. Bacon cheeseburger and California burger exceeded our expectations. Quality beef prepared perfectly, fresh veggies, and buns were seared on the grill. There were a mix of tourists, senior citizens couples, such as ourselves and local workers who stopped in for lunch. We always pick a booth to sit in, but there were also small tables that could be pushed together to easily accommodate a larger group. Along the dining counter the seating was a novel Minnesota lake country idea: individual fishing seats such as you would find in a boat or pontoon, and they are comfy.

All the charm of a small town diner, with great service and amazing food. Consistent quality and a friendly hometown feeling. The omelettes are gigantic and served all day long. The best - well worth the detour off of 94!

I adore this restaurant; it's simple and quant. They have the best breakfast food I could ask for, I'm never disappointed. After your meal, I highly recommend taking a walk through Blast from the Past antique shop. (See review)

Not far off the interstate and well worth the drive. Fantastic diner! Omelets were cooked to perfection with veggies firm and juicy. Hash browns were crispy. People were friendly.

Went in for breakfast this a.m. Excellent. Hot buttered toast just out the toaster...fredhly cooked real potato hashbrowns...eggs over east to perfection...good sausage links..hot coffee. I'd rate it a 10...best I've had around the area.

Very tasty food, friendly staff and quick service. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. Great place to go for a meal! They recently added a patio as well for outside dining.
