Coon Lake County Park

We love this place! It's always pretty busy but it never feels crowded. The beach is beautiful but there is tons of grass for your towels and a picnic. We always bring food and make a day of it. The water is pretty clear and the bathrooms are super clean and convenient! They also have a playground for the kids. Here's the boys completely wiped out after a full day of fun in the sun!

This park is awesome! The grounds are well maintained and clean. The beach and swim area are groomed. There are plenty of benches and activities available with a cool park for kids to play on. Lots of room for parking. If you want to get out with the family or just to relax by yourself, I would highly recommend this park.

Great fishing spot! Lots of northern, quiet area

Large sandy beach gently sloping a long way into the lake. Safe for children. Loved seeing many diverse people enjoying the park. Lots of great smells from the barbecues. Nice playground apparatus.

Loved it. Was hardly anyone there bc kids were still in school. So tranquil and peaceful. Almost felt like being on vacation just walking in the beautiful clear water. They're doing a wonderful job of keeping the lake/beach nice

Loved the trail here by the lake and through the woods. We saw an owl. I believe it was a barred owl.

We had 7 children and 4 adults. The children enjoyed the time in the water. The other visitors were friendly. Very nice small area, friendly and a large area of beach underwater, that goes out at about 3'>5' before getting deep.

This place is amazing. It's a nice clean part and splash pad all for free. It's a unique playground unlike many others.

I love the atmosphere and always have fun, when the dog is with she has so much fun getting waterlogged! My favorite beach to go to

Excellent beach!! I brought the kids around 5:00 and it was not crowded at all, the water was warm and it was a great way to spend the evening. It seemed like everyone was packing up from the afternoon so it was a great time to swim and enjoy the beach with not too many other people around - but not dead either. 2 thumbs up!

I am kind of partial because I live in the area, but this park and beach to me has it all. The beach area is great and CLEAN, you can bring your dog to the park if you so choose, and the swimming area is great for kids and adults. There is an area to bring your boat into shore, if someone on board needs to jump off and use the facilities, and picnic tables with grills if a picnic is what your aiming for. It's also a great place to watch the sun set.

The beach and boat launch are both awesome... for the most part this Lake has the clearest water it can for a minnesota lake...

A bunch of fish, but very sandy. There weren't too many weeds. Big beach with a volleyball net there. There is a park nearby along with bathrooms and a place to wash off your feet.

My kids loved it! Had fun and they made some friends. Perfect park for families.

Awesome place for a family reunion! The bathrooms are like hotel rooms lol! And thats a plus! The park is updated and clean! And the monument is awesome. The pavilions were super clean and garbage and recycling receptacles everywhere so no reason it shouldnt be clean!

Been going since we were little, clean nice park! Great sandy beach and its free!! Clean bathrooms and a little outdoor shower to rinse off all the sand!

Very nice park with lots of parking and pcnic areas. Nice Playground for the kids and a swimming beach. Veterans memorial dedicated to those who have served our country.

The county sure did a great job on the park the entertainment area with the gazebos and restrooms is beautiful don't have to deal with much riffraff which I know a lot of people appreciate... All fish matter!!
