Pleasureland RV - Long Prairie

I called Adrian from the road, knowing that we'd be passing through the area in 10 days. We'd lost an AC unit during the hottest part of our trip, and I asked if he could help.

Although he was unable to get an exact match unit on short notice, he worked to find a compatible unit without electric heat, which was fine by me, and said he'd have it waiting for me when I got there. To put a finer point on it, he did actual work with no guarantee of my patronage - real customer service!!!

On arrival, everyone was great. We got some lunch and checked out trailers while they swapped the unit, which works great. My only disappointment is that they didn't have the parts on hand to fix my RV steps - as a dealer they focus on trailers over motor homes.

But that's no matter - Adrian got me out of a tight spot at a time that was convenient for me, and my whole family is grateful!

Gene was one of the best salesmen I have ever worked with. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered our many, sometimes kinda stupid questions with a smile. I would highly recommend the Long Prairie location and Gene over the larger locations.

Gene and the crew were very detailed. They took care of us like family! Gene made us feel welcome right away. Walked out to us within the first few seconds of us pulling in the lot. He did not beat around the bush, listened to our needs and wants, showed us a few selections of styles to choose from. Called us a few times in between purchase to see how our day was going and again a few days after to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. Made sure if we had any questions or concerns to call back. I would definitely recommend this branch of pleasureland RV. They take very good care of there product and customers. Thank you again!

I’m very pleased with the salesman, Chuck, that I purchased by RV from. He’s very knowledgeable and assisted very much with the hitching up of the vehicle. The following doesn’t have to do with a salesman, but I know they manual for the vehicle that I bought says it has a 56 gallon freshwater tank but when I fill it using a meter the meter only shows 46 gallons. I also wonder where the outlet from that tank is, as I seem to run out of water before I should.

Gene was great to work with and made the process of trading our camper for a new one very seamless! Our drop off and pick up was very quick and easy. We are happy out with our purchase. Thank you!!

You Need to ask for Chuck! He is personable, he listens to what you need & want. He doesn't push you in to something more than what your looking for. We had a great experience with Pleasureland. Highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new or used camper. Great selection of both new and used.

We purchased an Itasca Cambria Class C from Pleasureland in Long Prairie, MN. From our first contact, Chuck Thompson was a real pleasure to deal with. He was knowledgable, patient and very prompt with all of our questions. He helped us navigate this big purchase and was a extremely helpful from start to finish. All of the folks we dealt with on the day of purchase were professional. RV tech Ron guided us through the final inspection and answered multiple questions about the unit. All in all, our experience was excellent.

This is the second camper we’ve bought from Pleasureland RV in Long Prairie. We have nothing but good to say about both the sales and service departments.

On our first RV we had a few warranty items to be worked on. Due to the winter last year, the warranty had run out. With the help of Gene, the service department took care of everything anyway.

The first time we came in to look at trailers, Gene (the old guy) met us with a smile. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He always returned our phone calls promptly and was able to answer any questions we asked. He even gave us his personal cell phone number. We were so comfortable with Gene, when we decided to trade in our smaller camper for a slightly larger one, Gene was the one we called. He returned our calls, and we had several back and forth conversations while we were waiting for the trailer to come in. Gene called us to let us know it was there and set up an appointment to see it. He told us we would be working with Justin, because he (Gene) was off for the winter. Most of our conversations with Gene had taken place while he was on vacation! What a wonderful man to still take care of us even when he wasn’t working!!

Justin was the one who sold us our second trailer. He, also, was very knowledgeable and personable keeping in contact with us during the whole process.

You can tell both men are knowledgeable about every aspect of their campers - from construction to towing to cold weather camping. We would definitely go to Pleasureland RV in Long Prairie for any future needs!!

Pleasureland of Long Prairie is an awesome place to shop! We are so thankful for the caring staff. They worked with us to get the best deal for our trade in and were available for questions. Pleasureland goes out of their way to make sure that you're satisfied with the buying process and with the product. The salesman who sold us our camper (Chuck) was very helpful and knowledgeable. This dealership is ALOT more helpful and accommodating than certain other dealers in Minnesota. 10/10 experience.

My partner and I purchased a used 24' Cl C motorhome from Grant and other staff at the Pleasureland lot in Long Prairie, MN a few weeks ago.

Every step of the process was simple with no pressure sales or "trickery". Grant was honest and forthright with the details and condition of the unit.

The paperwork as usual took forever but that was normal as with any vehicle you purchase. All of the staff were courteous and made the effort to chat with us while we waited. Dan in parts was helpful with multiple suggestions of extra items we might need along with a discount for items bought that day. The only reason we did not take greater advantage of this nice offer was because we have some work to do in our purchased unit before we know exactly what we will need.

That would be my one 'criticism'. The discount on accessories should be extended for a reasonable time of say 30 days to make a one-time shopping 'trip' to pick up the extras.

Overall I easily rate them a 5 star outfit and would certainly come to them for an upgrade in "wheels".

It was a one stop shop. The staff at Long Prairie Pleasureland were great! From Justin who sold us our camper to Chuck who offered to come in to do our camper walk through while he was on vacation. Gene is very knowledgeable regarding Glacier fish houses. He is friendly and provided great customer service. He was very thorough for our walk through and he was a pleasure to work with!
