Businesses are like relationships.... not one and no one is perfect if you seem to find one that is perfect... then they are more likely hiding something.. as a driver for kirks I treat every car as if it's my car to prevent any damage that can be caused. Yes I take my time to complete every job task I take on some people no names being said don't like that I take my time cause time is money indeed I understand that but for some people money isn't a thing but for me I can't afford to rush on hooking up cars potentially causing damage that i cant afford to fix hense the check engine light in my own car to this day. I live pay check to pay check struggling being broke by Monday EVERY week.. based off these reviews left years ago after towing for them for a year they are nothing like these negative people are saying. Indeed they treat me like family when they honestly don't need to. I respect these people graciously and will do anything to help if I can do it. While working for them and even if I wasn't. George and Kris are great people in my eyes everyone has their bad days but we also have our good days. Again no one is perfect.

Nice people

Been using them for 21 years, never had any issues. Both main street and Tenney mountain locations. I had to use them to tow (on Christmas Eve) and fix my brakes when another local garage forgot to tighten the bolts. I like the gas pumpers on Main Street, good local folk, and now and then can pick up some local eggs to boot.
The owner is a stand-up person, involved in local youth sports and local politics. I have nothing but respect for him. Furthermore, I can only imagine that some of these negative reviews were self-induced problems created by people from away that don't treat people with respect.
And yes, ethanol free gas. My 2-strokes and lawn equipment after a few tankfuls are happy again.

I have gone to Kirk's Truck and Auto repair to buy ethanol free gasoline. The gasoline I purchased was clean and ethanol free upon completion of my testing.
Don't let the rustic patina scare you away. The gasoline they sell is good and I like to support folks who sell ethanol free gas.

The people that work there are very nice to me manely the ones that pump gas into car!!

Had the pleasure of speaking with Christine today about my car that took them almost 48 hours to pick up and tow, to find out they just dropped in in their lot rather than the body shop they were supposed to take it to. I didn't authorize this, no one called to tell me. I called the body shop this morning to find out my car was not on their property. Christine was less than helpful, rude, and couldn't have cared less because they were "busy." Said “well I can have him turn around and bring it back.” Seriously? Subcontracted by AAA - will pay someone else than ever allow my car to be towed by this company again. Will absolutely hold them liable for any issues with my car or anything missing from it. Also Christine, learn some customer service skills if you’re going to be allowed to answer the phone there.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go to this place. What they do best is taking advantage of college students. No one there is helpful. I had an encounter with the tow truck driver who was supposed to take the boot off the car he was impolite, boorish, inconsiderate, nasty and unprofessional. Just for your own good go somewhere else. Don't say I didn't warned you.
