Premier Health Psychiatry/Richard Nasstrom

Dr Nasstrom is a very caring doctor and person. His goal is to make you feel better. He is very knowledgeable about the latest medications and strategies of improving your mood and a sense of well being. Once I became a patient, I felt supported in many ways. Even his support staff is truly caring. They work with you to coordinate your care and life. Becoming a patient at premier health was a life changing move for me. I can’t say how much I appreciate being here. Thank you Dr Nasstrom for lifting the cloud of depression and anxiety off my shoulders.

I've been seeing Dr. Nasstrom for some time now. The progress we've made in settling the issues that have been plaguing my life, is amazing. Throughout my life, I've been exposed to several clinicians in the field of psychiatry as medicine, as well as psychology as counseling and therapy. When I met Dr. Nasstrom, his input was invaluable to me. For one, he was able to balance my medications to achieve the best effect on my body. No-one has been able to do this so far. Secondarily, Dr. Nasstrom is someone who makes you feel very accepted and understood. The reason you feel like that in his office is because he truly is very accepting and understanding. He also prepares his patients to present themselves in the way to the rest of the world, where they will be accepted and understood! His effect on my life is invaluable. Thank you Doctor!

Doctor Nasstrom is the best doctor I've ever had. He cares very much about his patients. He listens to what you tell him and he makes sure he finds a solution for you. He is incredibly knowledgeable about modern treatments and medications. In this area of the world, it is not so easy to find a good doctor. It is even more difficult to find a good psychiatrist. What is a GOOD psychiatrist? In my opinion, it's a combination of a scientist and a compassionate person. Dr. Nasstrom is all of those things. Through him, patients have a portal to modern science and make it work for you! After each and every visit, I feel more energized and ready to deal with the hardships of the world. He makes his patients more equipped to survive and thrive.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Nasstrom. He is patient, kind, knowledgable, humble, and open to learning about things that he may not necessarily be the expert on. I came from SF Bay CA a few years ago and had a REALLY hard time finding a psychiatrist who took my insurance and wouldn't make me jump through a million intake forms and other hoops in order to get an appointment. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Nasstrom within a week, so even though he is in Plymouth, about an hour from my home, I made the drive for the initial appointment. Dr. Nasstrom spent time getting information about my diagnoses and my current presentation, as well as the medications that I was on. I came to him with concerns about ADHD symptoms, which I have not received treatment for previously. He listened carefully and, unlike other psychiatrists, was not at all dismissive of these concerns (which are relatively minor as compared to my depression but negatively impact my day-to-day living). I was able to work with Dr. Nasstrom to find a new medication that would work for me, and since then through mobile visits, we have been able to fine tune as-needed. Another thing I like about Dr. Nasstrom is that he is a big proponent of therapy, and does believe that everybody can benefit from it. I think that this is really helpful in destigmatizing the use of therapy in order to improve one's mental health. Though at times it's not exactly what I want to hear, it does keep the thought in my mind. I also have some specialized medical issues that Dr. Nasstrom had not personally experienced prior to my visit, but he was interested in learning and has been highly sensitive about my needs in this area as well. Also, Dr. Nasstrom's office staff is wonderful and responsive, they always quickly respond if there is some sort of issue with my pharmacy or I need to fit an appointment in last-minute.

I've experienced some really bad and dangerous psychiatrists in the past, but I finally feel that I'm in good hands with Dr. Nasstrom. I would recommend him to anybody!

Dr. Nasstrom is very intelligent, knowledgeable in his field of expertise and down to earth. He actively listens and shows genuine kindness and caring. I've never felt heard and respected by a psychiatry provider before. I recommend him a thousand times over.

2019 . We are ALL comprised of three components.... the mental, physical and spiritual. If one is lacking, the other two falter causing an imbalance.
For myself; I know this to be absolute...my psyche was out of Sink. Knowing this, feeling less than; I began a personal quest to address my ISMS.
In the process; I experienced voided counseling from DR's in the profession...not a professional fit.
Then in 2019; I was introduced to Dr. Richard Nasstrom (DO). who (with valued time) demonstrated to me a new and vibrant concept of *Health & Wellness*.... it was instantaneous! He pocessed the natural quality of a *True Humanitarian*, securing a strong bond!
With Dr. Nasstrom 's professional *Bed Side Manner*; he touched on
the Matters of the Heart which is the nucleus of our emotions.
With his *Down to Earth* Characteristics; he unequivocally possess true qualities of genuine authenticy and sincerity!
Dr. Nasstrom has become a major influence in my support system.
I can not say enough about this man that would totally pronounce
or acclaim his Valued Credibility!
Dr. Nasstrom has totally enriched my *Quality of Life*...simply rejuvenating...given me a new found purpose, a professional opinion and direction.
In closing: you've all heard of the expression *Beauty For Ashes*...well this definitely applies!

The Dr. Nasstrom is great and kind doctor. He cares about his patients. He leaves the institution that I am patient, however, i looking forward to be his patient again. None like him.

This Doctor and office is dangerous!! I cant believe the headgames he played with my wife. he needs to have his license revoked.
the office is just insane. they wont answer calls or respond to emails. is way worse than i can write on here. please i warn you stay away.
