We had the best experience!! Everything was outstanding and the service was great. I had the Foie gras with the cherries and it was spectacular. Then I ordered the pork chop and it was delicious as well. The owners are the best and I celebrated my birthday surrounded by great people and food. This is a gem !! Highly recommend!!

This is a diamond in the rough! We live more than 6 hours away and this is our go to spot for dinner. Never once were we disappointed. Have gone to many other restaurants there that were highly rated, when Kurt was closed, in the 15 years we have traveled to NJ, and they certainly don’t meet the expectations. Yes, traveling that many miles through the Adirondack mountains through snow and ice storms then city traffic knowing there is a fabulous dinner with great service waiting for us, is worth it. Those that have not experienced Belford Bestro are missing out on a gem. Wished we lived closer.

Amazing is all that needs to be said. Service with a smile, Danielle was our server she was super knowledgeable and friendly. The perfect atmosphere, 20 to 25 tables, maybe. BYOB amd gluten free options were totally key for us. The food was the best I've eaten from Monmouth to Ocean County. The chef's definitely love what they do, and it shows in their delicious food and presentation. DEFINITELY coming back and recommending them to all my customers and friends. We've been here 3 times now and this review is long overdue. Belford Bistro is everything we look for in a restaurant. It's cozy and charming and we love that it's bring your own. The staff here is very friendly and attentive and the food is absolutely delicious!
We had the crab cakes, which my husband described as the best crab cakes he's ever eaten. (We eat a lot of crab cakes) We also tried the scallops and chicken dish. Everything is fresh and flavorful .
Other members in our party ordered the salmon and pork chop which they both enjoyed.
Dessert was a flourless chocolate cake and a slice of cheesecake. I wish I was eating them both again right now!
We are already planning our next trip back! Highly recommended.

Just ate here for the first time, and it was definitely one of the best meals I have had in my life. The opinion is shared by the other 3 members of my party. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was unbelievable. Portions were big enough for us to each share a bit, and each dish was better than the last. Nothing to complain about... and I'll definitely tell everyone I know about this place.

It's a lovely place! The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We split a crabcake and had ravioli and angry shrimp with gnocchi as our main courses. The portions were not overwhelming but perfectly filling. Service was exceptional. It was a bit loud but I was glad to see a local place so busy on a Friday night. We will definitely be returning!

Simply said... Amazing. Took the wife here for her birthday (reserved well in advance since they do get booked quickly we were told) and to say we enjoyed it from beginning to end would be an understatement.
From the impecable service (we had Kelcie and a nice spanish gentlemen) to the amazing\fresh food and desserts. Our waitress Kelcie was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and really made the day special for my wife which was awesome!
Have lived in Middletown for over 8 years now and somehow this was our first time here. It's a favorite amongst the locals and clearly for good reason. Would highly recommend! 👍 👌

I came to this amazing restaurant last weekend. Blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. The service was outstanding and so personal. I felt like a guest. Cant wait to go back.

This was my first time eating at Belford Bistro. The food was delicious!! Great quality and taste. They offer a $30 three course prefix menu with amazing choices. Portions were great, staff was friendly. I will be returning soon!!! Highly recommend checking this spot out !!!

We have been coming here forever. I can't believe the food keeps getting better. Just awesome. Such interesting pairings that work so well together. The Fois Gras special tonight was out of this world. The pastas, the mussels, are just amazing.

I’ve dined at Belford Bistro more times than any other restaurant in my life! I have 116 check ins here on Yelp as of April 16, 2021, and I plan on dining here another 116 times because the Food is FANTASTIC! It’s by far the best farm to table restaurant in the state! Chef Kurt is highly talented! I highly recommend ordering one of his daily dinner specials! He makes the best soups you will ever have too! He is so nice and custom makes me soups upon request. I had the best meals of my life here that’s why I keep coming back week after week! Tonight I had the house made goat cheese agnolotti in a lamb ragu and the dish blew me way! It was one of the best meals I ever had! He uses the highest quality ingredients in every dish. Everything here is TOP NOTCH! Chef Kurt even substitutes sides upon request with no problem. He will cater to any of your dietary needs. The desserts are delicious as well. My favorites are the brioche bread pudding, triple chocolate mousse, and the peanut butter cup. Danielle and Maria who are the waitresses that work here are so sweet! I highly recommend dining at Belford Bistro!

We ordered the special fresh fettuccine with mushrooms, & pancetta split for an appetizer.
Did the same with the skirt steak dinner with garlic mashed potatoes & frizzled onions. Topped off the meal with flour -less chocolate cake with ice cream..

Such a great experience and hidden gem! Food is unmatched and everything is home made with love. The ambiance is great, love the open kitchen, chef to table feel and view. Not to mention the added bonus of it being a bring your own! The Service is very warm, friendly, and efficient.

Outstanding! Caesar Salad, French Onion Soup and Scallop for appetizers. All *DELICIOUS* Pork Chop, Mussels and locally caught Monkfish and Crab Cakes with huge chunks of crabmeat- all beautifully presented and super fresh. Our server, Danielle, took wonderful care of us.

Love this restaurant. It really is a hidden gem on the jersey shore.

Went there Friday & today just to make sure Friday wasn't a fluke. The food is legitimately some of the best in the area. Definitely my new goto to place for a fantastic meal.

This is not the first time we had dinner there. Dinner tonight was wonderful and my birthday.

I'm giggling as I write this because I'm still tickled. Phenomenal experience the first time was a charm. Me and my wife had amazing dinner not simply for the fare but significantly for the service and the atmosphere. We're definitely going back, and if you haven't been you should go. You'll love it!

Decided to go here last minute since I happened to see them on Instagram and their posts always look amazing. I would def consider myself a foodie and l live in New York so sometimes I am disappointed by the restaurants in the area. This restaurant definitely did not disappoint. It's BYOB which I actually like and everything was on point. The food was delicious and the service prompt and friendly. Belford Bistro will be one of my go to spots in this area for sure.
