Zaika Indian Grill

I'm from out of town this place was close to my hotel and I'm very glad I stopped. The staff was very helpful with a few recommendations since I've never had Indian food. The food was absolutely amazing!! The price was very reasonable, definitely going back

Loved the food and atmosphere. Very clean and tidy place. Presentation is also very presentable. The staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended place.

If you want convenience and a good variety of Northern Indian cuisines, this is a great spot. We've gotten so many dishes there in such a short time, I was just able to capture these two delicious items! I'd also add their Kati rolls are excellent as well! Compared to many other Indian restaurants, this has a home style feel to it. Mainly a takeout place, food is solid!

If you ever feel that you need desi style pizza with halal meat toppings. Look no more, as Zaika will make it even better than pizza. Try their best tasting chicken cheese naan filled with ground chicken filling. You will not be disappointed.

One of the best and most delicious kadhai paneer I have had. Paired with Laccha paratha. Fresh & tasty!
The gravy with some sautéd onion bit of a crunch, slightly smoky flavor, the bell peppers, probably some methi and some tomato for the tanginess. Superb!!!

Ordered Egg fried rice. The best egg fried rice I have ever had! It was so delicious, and to me was worth the price. Will definitely visit Zaika whenever I visit NJ again.

Driving down one evening from NYC, we just happened to stop by this lovely restaurant. The food is outstanding and incredibly well priced. You would have a really hard time finding Indian food this good in New York for twice the price. The everything is freshly made from scratch and the staff is both courteous and efficient. If you live good authentic South Asian cuisine, stop by Zaika and try it for yourself.

Its a wonderful takeout place. I have tried multiple, guess the chef is good with south indian, bengali and Goan dishes. May be he is good in others as well. My favorites are goat sukka, chicken dum biriyani, bengali fish curry, kerala mutton curry, chicken 777, shrimp pepper fry and thier naans.. good work Zaika

What an understated restaurant!!!

I bet you drove past this gem many times, perhaps picked up a slice a pizza, or maybe even gotten a hair cut.

Is the decor beautiful? nope… or not yet. Besides you can’t eat tablecloths and curtains. Focus on the food, the flavor, and the friendly.

Firstly, unless you have been before and if you can find a seat, have a seat and eat in. The owners will you treat you so kindly and perhaps even bring you a few bites you were not expecting.

I went with a group and we had so many dishes and everything was delicious, veg & non veg. So, let me give you my swan song, get the GOAT SUKKA, GET 2!!! Best Indian food I have had in my life (I know what you’re thinking…no I’m not Indian & no, I have never been to India). Trust me. Everything comes out so hot, when the door behind the hostess/cashier opens you can see🔥 & smell food. The goat sukka is spicy, savory & so umami. It’s not full of bones and is meaty and tender. I wish I had more photos of everything I ate, but I was so surprised and instead focused on filling my stomach.

Don’t expect fancy but expect good. If you are ever presented with a Biryani that looks like this you are in the right place!

Can’t wait to go back. Be nice, be patient & enjoy.

We do not live close to this restaurant but whenever it is anywhere near our route, if we are on a trip, we will go out of our way to stop and get takeout. It is SO good! In a totally nondescript strip mall, newly enlarged and renovated, it is the best Indian food we have ever had, with so many different and interesting dishes. We have never gone wrong with anything we have ordered. Highly recommend!

The dining area was not available (seems it’s new) when we went. We ordered take out. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was not only affordable, it was fresh and absolutely delicious. The place seems new and “in-the-making,” so you have to be a bit patient, but the food does not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Delicious food at this new establishment. The dishes have fantastic flavor and the owner/employees really cater to your needs. We asked for mild spice for the kids and it was actually mild! Not alot of places make it right for the kids, not even mom sometimes 😁. We got saag paneer, goat masala and they threw in the rice which was awesome because alot of places charge extra (picture of the container given for 2 curries). We've gotten food here now a few times and have enjoyed every dish so far. I will keep posting everytime I have it because I love it so much. It's as good if not better than mom's cooking 😉! Enjoy what you eat.

This is our go to place when we want to order out or when we have an event and need catering. Food is always excellent. Only small down side is that sometimes it take a while for food to be prepared and we end up waiting for it to be ready for pick up. I have never dined in so can’t speak to that part of service.

I have been here twice and the food portions are generous and the price is reasonable as well. I have tried both veg and non-veg Chef Kabir does an amazing job!!

I highly recommend Chicken Chettinad, Lassoni Saag Panner (it's like garlicky palak panner) and Malai Kebab. We have ordered these 3 items multiple times and will continue to order again. The flavor and quality was consistent each time. Only thing to note is that recently they started to use extra oil (you can see a puddle of oil sometimes) and I am hoping they can change that.

I was traveling from Boston to Virginia; googled for Indian restaurants after entering New Jersey. This popped-up as quick detour. Hesitated initially, but after looking at the ratings, ordered Vijayawada special chicken biryani and chicken pepper fry. Both were very tasty, which I enjoyed through rest of my journey. I would definitely visit next time when I am in NJ.

Food was delicious. They were good at making things mild or spicy. Still working on the dining room, but service and food was top notch.

Came for dinner since my usual Indian restaurant in town was closed. Glad I did! The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and quiet. I will be back!
