Amazing view from the top, be prepared to work to get there. Absolutely, positively worth the effort.

Beautiful trail near to Boston. We went early morning at 6am and were back to base by 9:30am. As we were early getting parking was easy. Trail is nicely marked to follow blue signs which really helps you keep on track. So there is no way you are getting lost. I went with a group but I am pretty confident that this trail can be taken solo. The view at the top is really great. We went in September 2022 and the weather was really great. Definitely I am planning to make this as my go to place for exercise. I would say it is moderate to tough trail. Highly recommended.

It’s a difficult hike but worth taking. I spent 3 hrs as it was the first of its kind of hill hike for me. Good that I didn’t read much before deciding to go for it.

I could see kids and grown ups showing the same level of enthusiasm. This was motivating for me all along and kept me going.

The trail is on the hill and as soon as it starts, it goes steep up. I knew that one mile like that is not for faint hearted. But I took breaks and kept on going. Then it is steep down and then after a while again up. You reach to Eliot tower which offers a fantastic views. Went further and realized soon that I was on the Blue marked trail but that will be long. Thanks to the timely help from a seasoned hiker who helped me to find the south skyline trail that I had missed. She also told that she comes here every weekend. What an endurance!

Whether I will be back here, I don’t know but this thrilling experience and joy of completing it will stay with me for a long time. Each hiking trail has its own story to tell. You must not miss it.

Perfect trail for a moderate-light walk through beautiful surroundings. Everything is green during this season, highly recommended.

Excellent trail. Challenging scrambles, and a good distance. Did it west to east from 138 in Milton to Shea Rink in Quincy. You get lots of elevation and scrambles right from the start and all the way along. As its name suggests you hit the peak of almost every hill in the Blue Hills park. The elevation earned and given throughout the hike is just about equivalent to hiking The Dublin Trail at Mt. Monadnock except it's also about double the mileage. If you plan on hiking it point to point, expect to be there for about half the day depending on your pace.

Absolutely beautiful woods with so many amazing trails to walk, jog, scramble around. The ponds are pretty and there are some really nice vistas too

Great, relatively easy trail. We jumped between the blue and green trail which took us a little over two hours round trip. Small uphill and downhill climbs that could be a little difficult if not sure footed. Great views of the city!

So many fantastic views! My favorite is this hill in the middle where it just opens up and you can see everything around you.

The trail itself is really fun too. Some rock scrambling but most of it is easy enough for a good run. I only wish it were easier to get to from Boston.

Another nice place inside the nature, with green & blue colors you can calm your mind, and meditate your soul. It's one of the nice places I visited here and I'd recommend it for anyone around, looking for natural places to visit. Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.

I did this hike from Milton to Quincy. Lots of ups and downs but you are rewarded most times with a view at the top. According to my fitness tracker I climbed the equivalent of 174 flights of stairs.

Went on a Friday morning. Did the blue trail for about an hour. Nice trail with good water views (which is a must when I take on trails).

Great place to hike around. Watch out for ticks. Some of the rocks were a bit too steep for my dog

Good variation on this trail, from scrambling over rocks to traversing level ground. Multiple overlooks and small quarry ponds.

A gorgeous trail. I only wish this was more accessible via public transit to make getting out the city easy on a day off.

Well maintained and marked trails of varying degrees of difficulty. Lots of trail loops allowing you to switch trails without having to double back.

Very nice moderate trail may be little difficult for beginners. Nice view of Boston from the Elliot tower. Very rocky trail use of hiking boots are recommended.

Love taking an easy stroll through Blue Hills. It's a great place to have a quick escape from the daily hussle and bussle.
