The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge at The Eldred Preserve

I've been a few times and it's always been nice. I went tonight for my birthday and really enjoyed it. The French onion soup was really good, and I highly recommend the tiramisù espresso martini 👌

Absolutely stunning! One of the best meals I've eaten and the atmosphere was perfect - beautiful views of the grounds and very comfortable.
My wife had the special - Salmon and scallop burger - and I had the duck. Both were spectacular and the portions are generous.
If you like spinach, order a side of their creamed spinach. Best side dish I've ever eaten - creamy but not heavy; fresh spinach; perfectly seasoned.
The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect end to an amazing meal

Had the best date with husband. We walked in and had bar service on the outside porch. Honestly felt like we were still having dinner. Great food. Fantastic drinks. And atmosphere was very romantic and classy. Loved every moment of it.

We went to the Homestead around Christmas time. The food and service were outstanding and the physical plant was stunning. Really enjoyed the four entrees, appetizers and desserts we had. Will definitely be returning there soon. Can hardly wait!

They must have changed because the first 3 times I went, the food was sub-par for an establishment of this caliber. We gave them another shot and were pleasantly surprised. They are also open on Mondays. The GM Walter was very attentive and checked in on us before we left to make sure everything was ok. If you're looking to dine, be sure to have a reservation because you will not be seated for main dining without one.

New bar menu is an absolute delight! They offer more items and have been offering deals or different menus short term to see how to change it up a little. This time, it's a game day menu with wings, quesadillas and other small plates.

The gorgeous grounds, relaxing ambiance, great service and yummy wine selection are reason enough to come here for dinner, but the food is also delicious! Happy to have an upscale option not from from our cabin.

My parents took my girlfriend and I for my birthday. Amazing. Every part of our experience was curated with the utmost care. The food was so fresh, each dish had such a unique taste, nothing tasted bland. I could taste each individual flavor of my Ceviche, the ribeye was perfect, the cocktails were appropriately mixed, our waitress was knowledgeable and kind. The bread- one of a kind. I bought two loaves of the cinnamon breads to go. I am returning tomorrow for dinner before I leave. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Call ahead with any dietary restrictions or requests and the host will accommodate you. 10/10 wish I could rate 10 stars

My family an I went to this restaurant an couldn't be more happier, from the appetizers ( try the stuffed mushrooms) to the main course (wagu steak) , also along with the dessert( sticky toffee pudding) was phenomenal. Our server Sara was also fantastic always smiling an a great waitress. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks for a great night

I am a frequent diner at the Eldred. The atmosphere is lovely, the grounds are stunning, and the food is fantastic. I am particularly a fan of the vegan ravioli. They always have a great variety of drinks and cocktails and the service is wonderful. I recommend anyone stop by and visit for the weekend and grab a bite to eat. Dining is nice, but if you're just looking for a different vibe, the bar area is a great place to sit and grab a bite as well!

I went here recently with my family for dinner and it was such an amazing experience. We sat outside overlooking the beautifully kept grounds in a very sleek and clean seating area.
The server was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. I had some delicious bacon appetizer (our very kind server sold me as soon as I heard the word “bacon”) that was full of flavor. The tuna steak was incredible, the berry cheesecake is something I will get again and again, and the Argentinian Malbec was perfect.
The rest of my family enjoyed their meals and I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxing night out with delicious food.

Went here for Hudson Valley resteraunt week. Excellent menu, great food and wine and enjoyable atmosphere. Had the 35 day aged wagyu ribeye, was cooked to perfection and tasted exquisite, paired with some wine. Great experience, great food, couldn't ask for more.

We were so pleased with The Homestead while staying at The Bradstan. The food was fantastic, but the service was even better. We ate here twice and went to the lounge three times. One of the nights we needed to eat late. We called to ask if they would serve us late, and Nadia told us to come right in despite their hours saying the kitchen was closed. Upon arrival, Sara was a wonderful server and never made us feel badly about coming in so late. Truly a gem in this area!

A hidden gem in the Catskills. Delicious food, great service, and such a beautiful restaurant. Our server Matt was fantastic!

Wonderful experience! Aleczia, our waitress, was friendly and professional. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The dining areas and grounds are beautiful. This is our fourth time back since last spring when they reopened. And we will be back, again!

Scrumptious food. My son could hardly speak. Chef John has an amazing farm to table menu. Dessert was out of this world. Blueberry pie and pecan pie to top off a delectible meal. Thank you Marissa for taking such great care of us. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent food and service. Local beer on tap very good also. Not sure where these bad reviews are coming from, this places good ranks up there with similar establishments in NYC. The scenery is also very serene and well done.

What a great restaurant and such a beautiful location. The Kobe beef steak was incredible. Such a nice night out as a family and great food. Recommend if you’re in the area.
