Stanney's Ice Cream & Sandwich

Been coming here since the VERY early 70's. We used to get ice cream here as kids. I remember a bunch of us in H.S. getting their "H-Bomb Neutralizer" gigantic ice cream specialty. As good as it was, there was no way we could finish it. Breakfasts here can't be beat. Excellent coffee and the best breakfast sausage around! Waitstaff (especially Barbara) very attentive and friendly. I vaguely remember there being a second location in Brockton, but I don't think we ever went to that one. This place is the real deal! I hope to be enjoying their great food and service for many years to come!

Last week, my nephew and I found this place on our way back from the dentist. It's a great spot with an old Americana aesthetic that I really like. The atmosphere is just what I look for in a restaurant.

The food was excellent. I had the "Fried Dough French Toast" with ham and home fries, and it was all very tasty. My nephew enjoyed his steak omelet as well.

The service was good - attentive and prompt, just as you'd expect. I have no complaints at all.

After our visit, I've talked about this place with the rest of the family, and we're all looking forward to going back soon.

Cozy friendly smalltown diner. Food is cooked with way more heart and way cheaper than nearly anything that I know of in the area. Been going here for nearly my whole life and have never left disappointed. Love the home fries and omelets a ton

This place is a little gem the food was great the staff is very very very very very very sweet and attentive and the owner I got to meet she was a sweetheart they give you ample food the prices are well below other places and the quality is great , delicious....!!! Highly recommend !!! Thks u ....

Everything was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were large. Our server was so friendly, pleasant and so efficient.

The waitresses are always on top of everything, the food is great and the seating is unique and old fashioned which i really like

The atmosphere is nostalgic- not updated, but clean diner style, 80s feel. If you're into that thing, this is the place.
The food tastes like grandma made it on a Sunday morning. The prices are very fair, and they have fried dough French toast that almost made me see Jesus.
The waitresses were super attentive and service was fast. I haven't been to breakfast in 4 years and I'll definitely be going back.

I've been eating at stanneys for 30 years and it has always been excellent. Im so happy it survived the lockdown and several other obstacles but there is a reason it marches on... amazing breakfast and the h bomb.

My girlfriend and I brought our 1 year old here for breakfast today for the first time. The food was reasonably priced, tasted great, and came out quick. All staff were friendly as can be. I can see where people might get the idea that it’s a “townie” place, but that didn’t effect our service or quality of our meal. I like the atmosphere, and the other customers dining were all friendly. Our server was very polite, attentive, and grateful. We’ll definitely be back!

One of our favorite breakfast spots! The servers are wonderful and always remember our family! The food is so good. Just like a home cooked meal. I have been going here for over 25 years and the place has barley changed and I love that! Its so nice to have a reliable and delicious breakfast place!

I have been going here for years every Saturday after work. The staff is fabulous and friendly. The food is like your Mama would make you. It has a great 'Cheers' like atmosphere everyone knows everyone you feel like family. Would and have recommended many times.

Visited this place with Pop, my Father-In-Law and there was a couple inside but no one else outside of us. This was after 11 am. By the time we placed our order there was a steady flow of patrons coming in. The style is a throwback to another time and I really liked that. The staff was friendly and the service was quick in a way where you had time for a good conversation before eating. I'd go here again.
