Park National Bank: Zanesville North Office

I have always been please thru out the 35 years of being with this banking system. I use several of them and I am always treated well at all of them. Some ask to see i.d. but that is for your protection they do this. To prevent fraudulent activities. The banks Iost frequently use, always great me with a hello and a smile. I have never had issues here nor at any other branch. Thank you for being there for our community and I look forward to keeping my business with you. I love my banking family, some of the staff are more than just business but have become friends of mine.

I normally get really anxious at the bank, but Matti helped calmed me down and was very patient with me.

I recently had an issue with the bank but Steve went out of his way to correct the issue. Great customer service 🙂 it's okay to make mistakes in life but it's what you do to fix them that really matters.

This bank is easy to deal with. Very friendly staff. They can approve their times to talk to a representative. I waited over an hour one time. I am very satisfied with this bank.

I am from Canada, wife's from Ohio and they have always been able to answer my questions about international currency. They have always been good to my wife and I.. We have never had problems cashing or depositing any of our checks in either currency (USD or CAD) The staff has always been friendly to us and sad to read that others have not had the same experience .

I love Park National Bank! I have used this one on Brandywine & the one in Worthington Ohio. They have always treated me with great customer service!

One of the only places to give me a car loan for a car more than 10 years old. Great and friendly staff.

Nice , helpful employees, a couple things from getting the last star; first the overdraft protection is confusing, and sometimes it takes awhile for something to clear, and if your check is late, the frees are staggering.
I do love the weekend hours howbeit limited, most banks don't offer that service.

Called to check on order for new checks made 3 weeks prior. Did not have my order, I said, can you put a rush on the order and she said yes, I will check with my manager. Should take five days. Never an apology given for not having the order. Customer service lacking!

U get over draft on acct but u can’t over draft it ut take up to year I know for fact zanesville other bank r not like this just park national these people run pack it go to there head like them own it

HORRIBLE Banking practices that allow fraud and abuse. When they are notified, they do NOTHING but have their lawyer (Mr. Bailey) call you and tell you to "get an attorney". They allow their bank manager, Mr. Alexander, to allow local officials and board members to do whatever they want, regardless of the law and industry standards. Shame on them for allowing the good old boys club in Zanesville continue. Sad, sad, sad.

This bank is a joke. I am a military spouse so I am not in Ohio. We are currently stationed at Fort Bragg and there was fraudulent activity so they deactivated my card and sent me a new one- however it has been over a 3 weeks, still no card so I decide to call them again. The First Lady I spoke with stated it was on its way to Bragg, then I spoke with a manager and he stated they could not send it to that address and it would be sent to my home in Ohio. Why wasn’t I told about this sooner? I am 500 miles away with no way to access my money and they have no idea where my card is or where it is being sent to. I will no longer be banking with this unorganized and insufficient place!!

Make sure you verify ALL of your information when dealing with this location. Opened a new account and when I didn’t receive my bank card I called to see why. They had the wrong city for my address so they rushed me a new one in 3 days only to find out that they had my middle initial wrong too. Waiting for them to rush me another card. Didn’t realize copying information off a driver’s license was so difficult.

As another customer mentioned, one star is a gross overrating. Even though I have come to not expect much in the way of customer service anywhere in the present times, this place is a bad service prize winner. I deposited a $1304.53 check into my mothers account at the Maple Ave. office, received a deposit slip and went on my way. Nineteen days later I noticed the check had not cleared my checking yet. Went to the south branch the next day with my deposit slip and asked where the deposit went. After a lot of keyboard activity, furrowed brows, and a trip to the copy machine the gal handed back the slip and simply said "we'll let you know what we find" and she was done. Next customer !!

When I got home that evening there was a message on my answering machine saying they had found the check/money. The deposit was not credited on the original deposit date but on the date they "found it" making the deposit 20 days late. Wondering how all this could happen and if there was something I could have done wrong, or something I could do to prevent a recurrence, I stopped at the Maple branch on the next trip to town. There I spoke with a Mr. John D. Dal Ponte, but only briefly. Briefly because Mr. Dal Ponte absolutely refused to discuss the matter. Period. Not one question would he answer, and he was quite rude about it.

A short time later I received a request for feedback from the bank : ) : )

A reply message similar to the one above was sent to them and never a response was heard. And this bank was voted the best in Muskingum County. Makes you shudder to think about your prospects at the others doesn't it ?

Banks are a dime a dozen go elsewhere. Left to set and wait when asking for notary service, employee I was waiting on proceeded to help a couple who stated they were early with I’m assuming closing some kind of deal that was more lucrative to the Branch. Ridiculous
