I am very happy with the hiring process. I am just disappointed during my training where a associate was talking about my disability how I couldn’t do nothing. Running the register. I am considered legally blind. That’s why it takes me time to do somethings. The manager at the store is really nice. And I appreciate her for considering me. I hope I get a chance to get better at running the register.

I wasn’t going to write a review but I started hearing more problems from other people.

About a month ago I came into the Dutchess trying to get gas. I originally tried to pay at the pump but it declined. I went into the store and explained to the woman. The other woman behind the counter yells “it’s because you’re broke!!”. Ignoring her, annoyed, we try my card again. Its declined once again. (I had just switched banks and was having problems with my account). The woman begins yelling again stating “see I told you, you’re broke!”. She would not stop shouting saying I was “broke”. She probably yelled it 4-5 times and the woman helping me yelled at her to “shut up”. She ran it as credit and it went through fine. I pumped my gas and left. I’ve never been so angry with a business before, nor have I ever had such terrible service. It is completely not okay to yell in front of multiple different people that someone else’s card is declining because they are “broke”. Wether i am broke or not it is embarrassing to be yelled at that I don’t “have” money. You do not know me. I could have been going through a hard time, you never know. I walked in to pay with no problems whatsoever. I didn’t do anything to provoke this woman. I didn’t even speak with her. SUPER unprofessional.

I’ve had to go in one other time since (maybe week ago) and the woman who yelled I’m broke previously didn’t speak with me but was yelling and being inappropriate again. She seemed “toned down” when I went in last but definitely doesn’t excuse the language and poor customer service. The language and “phrases” used in this building is widely talked about and it’s a complain from multiple people.

The woman who had originally cashed me out a month ago was very nice and could tell I was upset. I think she’s the manager. I do however wish it was handled better. It should have been shut down immediately.

Went there one day to fill my tank. There was a mix-up of prepaid gas for someone else. I went inside to address it then back out to finish pumping my gas. Long story short the rude girl at the register demanded cash instead of a card and threatened to call the police on me if I did not pay in cash. I do not carry cash and had to use an ATM which would have been fine aside from the ATM fee, and the rude girl implying I did something dishonest.

I enjoy their sandwiches but not going back.

I used to work here years ago. It's a crying shame how this establishment has bypassed rock bottom and been driven straight into the core of the earth by the current crop of employees. They are rude, unfocused and act as if anyone that comes inside is an inconvenience. Apparently cussing loudly with customers inside the building and texting their boyfriends is more important than clearing a line. If I were the District Manager, I would clean house and start over. Absolutely appalling.

I would leave no stars if I could. I stopped here to buy gas cigs and snacks, but I needed to use the bathroom. It was 930pm. The clerk said the bathroom was closed for the rest of the night. Needless to say I didn't buy ANYTHING and from now on will no longer EVER do business with these stations
