Staff is very knowledgeable about celiacs and gluten allergies. GF options galore. Tacos, potatoes, street corn! I highly recommend the Philly taco with ribeye. Loosen up a belt notch and dig in!

Summer was Our Server and took Wonderful Care of Us. The soft tacos were Terrific and the Chili Con Queso was delicious as well. Their Amherst Location had closed Permanently so We Ventured out 45 minutes to Their Original Location in Sandusky and We were very Happy that We did. Great Job and Crew.

Solid. Rock solid. Watermelon jalapeño margaritas were sweet with a smokey kick. We got the salsa sampler with a variety of 8 different tacos amongst the 3 of us. They all had excellent flavor and creativity. Great atmosphere and the bathroom has the soft paper towels that feel like cloth (we really liked them). Very clean and overall we had an excellent experience, we would highly recommend. Thanks again for the great dinner!!

The tacos were perfect. The house margarita was perfect. The street corn was perfect. Nothing in Ohio deserves to be this good but was it good! It wasn't even Ohio good, it was like legit good. Also, very celiac friendly. Last big plus? While not a typical "family" restaurant, the staff were very sweet to my kiddos and they let us know about the off menu kids quesadilla. P.S if you do bring kids, may I recommend the corn bread - a total hit!

One of my favorite restaurants. We ordered off the brunch menu and everything was excellent. I do wish they still had their original coffee mugs.

Small unique place with excellent food. Get the bowl of queso as a shareable appetizer. Recommend the tacos but the rice bowls are good also. Buffalo chicken taco. Lobster taco. Highly recommend

Barra is such a great place to eat tacos and drink Margheritas! This place has a good atmosphere and the service is fantastic. The food doesn't take long to come out so I go often for lunch. They like to put up new specials of tacos and Margheritas all the time. Today was a hibachi taco and peach cider Margherita. Both are fantastic. They also have a bar upstairs called Ariba where they sometimes have live music. Great place to check out.

Excuse me, serving glasses of water before the server arrives?! Don’t stop doing this!

Service was good, food was good, however as a Southern person the cornbread was too soggy for my liking. The flavor of the cornbread and honey butter great, but it was too soggy.

The shrimp tacos were perfect, the street corn was the best I've had!

My husband found this place last time he visited Sandusky. He raved about it so of course we went back when I came up. He said the bacon taco was to die for. Unfortunately the bacon was way over done and taste awful. I did try the firecracker shrimp taco [ I think that's what it was called] was amazing! Spicy coconut shrimp with a sweet sauce. The place was super cute and well done for an old building. I would recommend 100%

Waitress was super sweet and nice she provided good service , I really felt bad for her though the couple that was sitting next to us were very rude and mean to this young lady this lady went out of her way to try and please them thought she handled herself very professional she was a very professional and very good server I didn't catch her name this took place around 230 or 330 Sunday afternoon on the 28th of April this young lady should be commended on how she handled herself and stayed composed once again that other couple that was sitting next to us were very rude to her she was a true professional 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Awesome Mexican style foods with a flair- drinks are unique and using fresh ingredients also. Staff is lovely and the space is simple and stylish...street corn, corn chowder, house guac all must tries

The food was so delicious! We tried four different tacos and they were all super yummy! The only thing that could top the food was the house margarita which was quite tasty and Addie who made the whole experience super fun! Want to open another location...in Maryland? We would be first in line. 😀

Used to be a 5 star but 45 plus minutes for tacos is ridiculous. We’ve been loyal customers for many years but we will go elsewhere from now on. This has been multiple times trying to give them a pass for a bad night here or there.

Edit: We revisited and it was a much better experience. They acknowledged issues and apologized.

Such good food! My 8 year old and 6 year old came with us on a dinner date. We got drinks, a bowl, chips and salsa, tacos and watched the olympics curling event. Such good service, atmosphere and food! We will be back!

Great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend the Hibachi taco. I was very impressed!

Cool atmosphere, excellent service, awesome tacos. Particularly recommend the Philly, Cauliflower, BLP, and Firecracker Shrimp. We were not impressed with the Chorizo tacos, but can’t win them all. Definitely a must stop!

Edit: Went back for lunch a couple days later. Add the spicy beef and shredded chicken (add bacon to take it to the next level!) to the list of recommendations!

The customer service was great and personable. We had our 1.5 year old daughter and they loved her. The firecracker shrimp tacos were the best. The server gave me a pitcher of ice tea so I could fill up whenever I wanted. And gave us a pitcher of water.

They were very attentive and we felt very comfortable. All of the food had attention to detail.

The only issue we had with the place was when the server forgot the beef in the rice bowl but the server quickly and seamlessly corrected it.

Was visiting from out of town and decided to try it based on reviews. Food was amazing, service and drinks were on point! I would definitely recommend.
