Buckley House Restaurant

This place has an exclusive and high end feel to it. Inside a historic house in downtown Marietta you don’t expect a meal and service to be anywhere this good! Food is delicious and we were told not to order off the menu but to pick from the specials instead. We were not disappointed either. Everything was fresh and paired well together. Adam our server was passionate and knowledgeable about everything and even provided recommendations. We will be back for our next special occasion.

2nd time visiting and it was just as wonderful as the first visit. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and attentative. The food is fabulous and the atmosphere is perfect

Excellent food! We enjoyed crab cakes and steak with sides of the scalloped potatoes. Prices are higher than the average in the area but the food is worth the money. Close quarters in the restaurant every table was full. Must have reservations!

This is one of the best restaurants in the Marietta/ Parkersburg area. The food is made from scratch and seafood is delivered twice a week. The ambiance is nice and the seating area is ok the form of tables in the Buckley house rooms. I’ve tried the lamb in the past too and it was amazingly delicious.

Best wining and dining around. Spectacular food. Great service. A cramped space, and took a little while. But well worth everything. I would recommend buckley house to anyone. It is very fun to go.

Every time I go here the food is always incredible and the servers are very polite. Marietta is my hometown and this is by far my favorite place to visit! Next time I will enjoy their beautiful patio outback! 😁

Delicious food, but items can get a little pricey. I highly recommend this place to eat. Awesome place to go for special occasions.

One of the best place to eat in Marietta, OH. As far as I know this is the best option for high end dinning in Marietta.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Not quite at the level you might expect for high end dinning, but I'm not sure they have had a good example of what that would look like. They get the job done and are great for the most part.

I've not had a bad experience with any of my food choices here.

I'd like there to be more parking, but I don't know if there is a way to improve or increase their parking.

The tables are kind of jammed into a room and some of them really aren't set up for having a fine dining experience. it does kind of ruin the experience if you get one of the jammed in tables and have to squeeze between the table and a wall, no matter your body shape/size.

Beautiful neighborhood. The house is a bit tightly packed, but the staff are so professional and polite. The prices are a bit high but the food is very much worth it. There are a variety of dishes that anyone is sure to enjoy. They were very knowledgeable and helpful about catering to my Celiac Disease, which prevents me from eating gluten. Definitely dress nicely when you go.

We were in Marietta for only one night and chose Buckley House for a late dinner because of the style of food and outdoor seating option. We were exceptionally pleased. Two of us shared three starters (harvest salad, crab cakes and the scallops). The flavors were fantastic for all the dishes. Especially enjoyed the crab cakes and the Asian flair of the scallops. A pleasant surprise to find such fine dining in a little college town.

One of the best restaurants i have ever been to! The food was exquisite! The atmosphere was beautiful! The waiters were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The owner and chef was a great person and was very personable! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It was priced very fairly for the quality of the food you receive!

Out for a great date night meal at The Buckley House.
Chef Tom and the new owners Jeff and Julie haven't missed a beat in the transition. The food was terrific and there were a few new menu items to consider. Clearly they can deliver the same great food we've come to expect so I can't wait to see what personal touches they add to this Marietta favorite.

The food was amazing and wait staff was awesome. The ambience was ok. To be fair, it is just not our style, but it matches what most people would expect within a historic house. However, the overall experience was incredible with some of the best food I've ever experienced. Thank you Buckley House for a wonderful evening.

Not only did new ownership not miss a beat, they stepped it up a notch. Great food ... and I think we were the first to experience upstairs dining. Hats off to The Buckley House, I would say ‘can’t wait to get back’ but was just there yesterday for lunch!

The Buckley House provided an excellent dining experience from start to finish. The location across from Muskingum park is idyllic. The house is historically beautiful. Our server was Maddie and she did a great job. The atmosphere is upscale and cozy. We dined on the covered back deck of the house looking over the garden, pond, and gazebo. I had the tenderloin which was delicious and perfectly cooked. The seabass was the special and not only was it tasty but the portions were very large. I cant wait for our next visit.

Each time I've dined here the service was almost as impressive as the food. The chef went out of his way to accommodate my special diet, offering dishes that weren't listed on the menu. The authentic cuisine and charming atmosphere makes for a dining experience like no other in this area.

The food and service were both outstanding, five star plus. I presents an intimate, comfortable atmosphere perfect in every way. The chef goes out of his way to accommodate specific dietary needs if possible and he is made aware. All in all this was a perfect family dinner experience.

This is the finest restaurant in Marietta. The Chef has seafood flown in twice a week. Their specials are the real selling point of the restaurant. The waiter will read off a large list of specials depending on the availability of ingredients. Pay attention as you are going to want to remember all of the delicious choices. Reservations are required. I recommend the Lamb shank that is a common special.

My boyfriend surprised me on Sat. night by taking me to the Buckley House in Marietta. The atmosphere was so pleasant and romantic. I had the Salmon with Peaches. The presentation of the food was beautiful. That was the most delicious meal I have ever had. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for making our night so special.
