Been living here full time for a year now (full time traveling for 5yrs, so we've been to quitea few campgrounds) and we love it! The office staff is amazing! Bathrooms and laundry room are always clean and if a machine breaks they are prompt on getting it fixed! There is a few pot holes but that's not for lack of effort on their end cause i see them working on it frequently (its just the clay dirt that's here that doesn't stay packed plus a ton of turnover traffick). The layout of the campground is very nice and cozy keeping most of the transient at the bottom half close to the entrance and the long term stays at the top! This campground has an amazing mountain view and is located close to tons of gorgeous hiking trails! We are outside the city of alburqurqe by about 25min, close enough for my husbands commute while being a much safer environment for our kids to be in! Lots of wildlife everywhere! Monthly cost is good ($600) especially with free utilities! Highly recommend!!

Nice place off the interstate. Being in the valley drowns out the traffic noise. Beautiful pool and tenants are always pleasant! Shane does a great job tending to everything!

First and foremost, I have read other reviews and agree on parts. The only thing we didn’t like about our spot where the burrs, but hey it is nature and I am not going to ask someone to fix that when it isn’t in their control and that is what patio mats are for. Most importantly to note here is the staff is nothing short of amazing!!! Shane and team are some of the nicest we have encountered and I cannot wait to come back to stay long term.

Hidden in the mountains just east of Albuquerque. This is a high mountain desert rv park. This Park exceeded my expectations after reading some of the negative reviews. It is a high desert, dust will blow when it is windy, the roads the typical dirt/gravel, the sites are smaller but manageable and have full hookups. There are restrooms and garbage dumpsters, a pool during season and a large pet park. The staff is absolutely wonderful and helpful.
If you are looking for a Resort with concrete pads, green grass and less dust you should probably go to the Gulf States or along the East Coast so you can pay the high dollar price and save the energy you will expend to write a nasty review. If you want a wonderful experience in the high desert with an authentic feel of the West then this is for you. Easy access to Interstate 40, minimal interstate noise. The entrance looks intimidating but very doable. Staying 6 days in a 40' coach w/ tow and we will definitely return.

This was an awesome park. Rates are very good. I got a bit nervous towing a 40' 5er when I saw the first turn up to the park but it was easy as long as you take your time. Once past that turn everything is easy drive. Trees were trimmed above the top of my 13'6" roof, spots were easy pull through. Spots are gravel and mostly level, ours was slightly sloped to driver side but nothing that cannot be dealt with. Very minor road noise even though it is an easy on/off from I40.

Had we more time we would have stayed longer than 1 night and we would stay here again if in the area.

This is not a high-class resort, but I myself had a very pleasant stay here. Conveniently located off the highway, yet behind a bluff which reduces freeway noise. It's about 19 miles from Downtown Albuquerque. Utilities work well. Apparently Wifi doesn't reach throughout the park, but I got great Wifi at speeds over 10megs. Site was reasonably level. All for a reasonable price.

Loved it here!! Office staff is always friendly and very nice and welcoming!! Good prices. Awesome discounts for various memberships! They have a pool!! Showers, club house, playground for kiddos. And a very quiet peaceful area beautiful mountains!! Stayed at a few different RV parks in east mountains and this by far is the best one I highly recommend it!! (I forgot to mention Domino's pizza delivers to the RV park👍)

Currently living here in my travel trailer. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Has a nice dog area, clean bathrooms, showers and laundry room. Also has 2 small cool hiking trails. Super quiet at night dark and great for looking at the stars at night. Also great monthly prices. Usually they have a pool and little hang out building however due to COVID they are closed. It’s a great spot close to Albuquerque only take me 9 minutes to get to work in town.

This park is off the beaten path, it's quiet and scenic. The office staff are friendly and helpful. The park has a laundry room with multiple washers and driers, a work out room, a community room with couch and TV, a full size kitchen in case you need it, and a play ground for the kiddos. The park is clean and well kept, and most of the sites are pull through. The spots are a little close together, but the area is so pretty, and the folks here so nice we didn't mind!

This is 5 stars for me because i like primitive and simple places without screaming kids and campfire smoke .. at a good price. Staying a week. Only 10 minutes to the near edge of ABQ

We have been to this RV park three times. Nice pull throughs. Some lots are more level than others. The entrance is on a huge curved hill which is hard to navigate but manageable even in our 45 ft. Nice staff. Pool has never been open when we have been there, but they did repair it. Member of RPI so it's cheaper to camp here.

Super friendly staff from the front desk to the maintenance men. Laundry facilities are nice and only $3 per load washed and dried. The clubhouse is super convenient so you can hang out indoors out of the cold, use the full kitchen or enjoy watching tv on very comfy couches. I would absolutely recommend this campground to anyone passing through or working in Albuquerque but wanting to live a safe distance away.

So, so very friendly. We broke down on the side of the road with 2 kids (3 & 1.5) and a dog. After 2 hours of sitting the kids were going crazy, we saw this RV park up the road and asked if we could just come up to stretch our legs and let the kids play in a safe area. They agreed! And on top of that when we arrived they brought trucks out to my kids, we played on their playground, and inside their club house. It was much relief for this tired mom and stir crazy kiddos.
5 stars because it seems like you can't go anywhere and meet kind people. And as far an an place to park your RV lots of people here, all also friendly.
Definitely don't think you could go wrong staying here!

So I have now lived here for 3 years.as a full time rv'er. This park has improved with every passing season. The new management, has truly gone above and beyondto make this park a family friendly park. My grand children love coming here. For the pool, the green lawns, the activities we have done at the club house etc. They are working constantly to do more with the park. The new store is family friendly. The staff are all family folks, so its nice to see people working to make this park, someplace you can really enjoy together. They have rules that are strictly enforced to keep those who live here safe as well as our family and friends that visit. Seems as we have had a busy season, and many people i have met from year to year, they all come back because its been such a great place. I have to agree, nestled in the mountains away from the city life, we have our own little nature reserve. All the birds, deer on occasion, i have even seen a bob cat. I love it here, and look forward to meeting many more of you as you pass through, where we call home.they also have a lovely grass area with picnic tables and gazebo, and you can also reserve the club house for events.

There were some negative reviews in the past. We were 7 years ago it was fine the, and were only overnighting. So tried it again. Really lovely person at check in. Pool still closed as it is not warm here yet. Has a new coat of paint. Restroom is clean and has some repairs going on. Sites are narrow but adequate. We have a 35ft class A.

Beautiful place! But unfortunately weren’t able to fit our 44ft toy hauler once we got there and tried. Lot too steep to unhook. Great for 30ft and under. Staff was extra helpful and accommodating to help fix the situation.

I have lived here since 2015. The Manager has worked very hard to make this place better and better. They have Wi-Fi, laundry room and bath houses that are clean. There is no drugs and they do park checks on a regular basis to ensure the park is safe and clean. We enjoy this place and that's why we stay. The park is quiet and peaceful and I enjoy walks with my dogs. Come see for yourself you won't be disappointed.

Great place for short or long term stay! Shane and Amanda were very helpful and welcoming, we had issues levelling our fifth wheel and they went above and beyond to help us out (loved meeting the sweet dog hanging out front too). The office has a cute little gift shop, and basic toiletries in case you forgot anything and they also offer a book and dvd exchange for those on long stays! The bathrooms seem to be stocked regularly, free hot water and was honestly very impressed with the water pressure! (the east bathrooms look more up to date than the ones near the office, but a toilet is a toilet, shower is a shower!) The club house has free WiFi, cable, a poker table, swimming pool and functioning kitchen (counters, sink, fridge and a full size oven) plus its a gorgeous location of RT 66 and I-40. There are literally hiking trails every direction in the RV park, spots for tent campers and its VERY dog friendly!! Plus side, its not too far from ABQ, Santa Rosa, or the nearby hiking trails in Tijeras and Cedar Crest. The price is right, full RV hookups and all the campers and all the dogs we met are so friendly too! I saw a bobcat and deer within a day or two apart, not too far down the road on RT 66 so opportunities to see wildlife and photography everywhere in and around the park! Only downside, its a fire danger zone so no fire pits! I will definitely be recommending hidden valley to my fellow campers!
