Dan's Place

This restaurant is always very busy when I go there but we got a table right away as they have a lot of seating options. We tried poutine for the first time. It tasted good but it's probably not something I would order again simply because I don't care for soggy French fries. My fish tacos were very good. I would recommend this restaurant.

What a great meeting spot for folks from CT, MA and different areas of RI. Dan's is located right off of Rt 95. The family met here for my sister's Birthday, and might have laughed a bit too loud, but the food was delicious and plenty to bring home as well. I got the steak fajitas. The steak was delicious, could've eaten it on it's own. Also got plenty of fixings with 6 soft shells, so you know there's a lot. The Birthday girl said her fish tacos were banging and my Mom loved her grilled chicken cobb salad. Desserts at end were nicely prepared and the service was fabulous. Best part is the prices are super reasonable...7 people, few beers, nachos, 2 desserts, and 6 entres for just under $200.

The food is amazing. I have tried a few different items now passing by, and I have to say it is definitely worth stopping by. It was my first time trying poutine, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is great, especially during football season, and you can't go wrong with an order of wings.

This is the place to bring your children if they want to learn BMX! The track is always clean and ready to go! The volunteers are awesome and it feels amazing to be involved in this!

Came here on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Both times I had an amazing dinner. The stroganoff was the best I've ever had. Steak dinner was great. Awesome wine selection and the drinks were made very well. My waitress was Mia on both visits and she was amazing. Great smile awesome personality and knew her job and the menu very well. I hope to get back soon . Keep up the good work. MLHR

My wife and I are truck drivers. We were in the area several times and decided to give Dan's Place a try. The last several weekends we have been in the area and so tire of the fast food restaurants. Not putting Dan's down in any sense of the meaning. They are prompt and professional. They send out the food really quickly, and it is fabulous 👌🏻.! We had Shayna on our last visit, and she made us feel like we were a priority, always checking in on us. I will recommend this place for anyone to visit! And we will come back here as long as we are in the area!

This place was fantastic. There was a bit of a line to get seated because of the popularity of this place though. Prices weren't cheap but were reasonable for the quality. The only thing I wouldn't order again would be the side salad (especially with the upcharge), it was lackluster at best... I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again. Cheers!

Dan’s place .. is pretty awesome. They have a huge restaurant that offers a nice bar and outside seating. The inside is nice and roomy . The staff are very friendly and attentive. Their menu is vast . They offer so many options that it takes some time to decide what to eat. Everything sounds better than the next . Then when the food lands on the table , it looks as good as it sounded , and tastes better then you expected. Very good food. Located right off the highway if you are traveling , so it’s very convenient. All in all for my first time there, it was very good . I can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I were seated immediately and Rachael was our server. I cannot express in words how wonderful our experience was as Rachael made us feel right at home. She is one the sweetest most personable servers we have ever had the pleasure to meet! As for the food, EXCELLENT!! I ordered authentic fish tacos prepared by Mexican chefs which were INCREDIBLE! No Taco Bell here thank goodness. My husband ordered a bowl of French Onion soup and a veggie pizza.
OUTSTANDING! I tasted his soup and a slice of pizza and in short, John and I agreed that Dan’s Place will be added to our list of best restaurants in RI, and we are bringing friends and family back with us!!

One of my favorite places. The food is excellent, the service is awesome, the people are friendly and Dan is a great guy!

We were visiting Rhode Island and I am glad we found this place. This place is a gem. There is lots of parking space. The staff is super polite and courteous. We ordered mozzarella sticks, garlic parmesan wings, and veggie delight and 4 cheese pizza. Sticks were a bit over fried but they tasted good. The pizza was one of the best pizzas I ever had. It was super delicious with right amount of cheese and toppings.
The place is clean and lively. Kudos to the team and maintaining high standards. Highly recommended..

Great food! Great service...fast and friendly!Great menu...got the goat cheese burger and it was excellent. Would love to go back and try their pizza. Large dining area is a definite plus...went back for the pizza...awesome!

I am a truck driver this was my first time here. Walked over from the truck stop got beef stroganoff to go it was absolutely amazing. I was sad that I couldn't stick around as they had a live band setting up. Definitely will visit again if I have the opportunity

Came for a first date. Was surprised by how cute and busy it was! Food was delicious, service was wonderful and prices reasonable. I was really thankful to feel safe on a first date and appreciate the staff that made possible the experience. Nice for friends and family, tons of parking.

It was excellent. It was our first time there after 100 times driving by. We wanted to go somewhere different and it was worth it. Our server Chris V was awesome, even though she was very busy she was very attentive with a smile :) Definitely will be going back.

Definitely suggest their pizza. Great bartender, that chased me down in the parking lot when I left my credit card behind. It's definitely worth the 4 minute walk from the TA Truck Stop. I'll absolutely be back.

Came here after not coming for a couple of years. We ordered coconut shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, and stuffed sole. The food was Delicious, served was on point and there was a man there making balloon animals for the kids while we waited. We will definitely come back again!!

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had chili, poutine, and a Philly Cheesesteak. The chili was very nice, thick and flavorful. The poutine was quite good but I would have liked more gravy. The Cheesesteak was quite good also with nice flavor. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.2.
