Little gem that's obviously a locals favorite. Food was delicious, staff friendly. Best mashed potatoes I've had in restaurant, just like my irish sister in law makes. Will definitely eat here the next time we pass through. I always try to pick a family friendly hometown place to eat while traveling and this place definitely checked all the right boxes.

We haven't been here that often in the past, but we stopped last Tuesday for a specialty burger with fries. Great taste, excellent service and the owner stopped by to chat and check on us. So we came back tonight for the prime rib special. Excellent taste, perfectly cooked, and great service to match. Wow. We'll be here more often in the future.

The best place in Fremont! The owners and servers are top notch. Such a fun place to have a drink or meal in Fremont.

We had the prime rib, macho nachos, ziti w/ peppers, mushroom and sausage, the breakfast burger and french onion soup.

Great food. Great price. Lunch for $10. That is why they were swamped. I ding one point on the service, only because it was a bit slow. But, like I said, it was a full house.

This place has become one of our regulars on rotation and we love it! The staff is always super friendly, it's nice and clean and the food is home style and delicious!! My top picks (so far) are the Prime Rib dinner and the Bacon Blue burger with tots! The Reuben Sandwich and their Pork chops are must haves as well! If you like strawberries, the Red Eye Margarita will not disappoint! 😋

Amazing food and great staff and atmosphere.

The meal was great. Waitress was attentive to what we needed. Best part was I got a birthday cake.

Very good meals, regular bar food and full sit down menu with desert's. The food has flavor to it, unlike larger chains with bland food to feed the masses. I have been there five times now, and never ever had disrespectful or poor service.

The Kohlers do a great job! There's a great variety of affordable food and rotating taps keep the beer selection fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly and there are a lot of regulars who aren't afraid of a little chitchat if you decide to sit at the bar. My favorite place in Fremont, bar none.

Best prime rib I've ever had. 2022 Update: Still the best prime rib! The celery seed dressing is good, they have tater tots. Dessert selection could use some more exciting options. Large menu. 2023 Update: Prime rib is still awazing.

The Perch Dinner was very good but the portion size was a little smaller than I expected. The Blueberry Crumble Cheesecake is amazing. The Waitress was friendly and helpful too.

Excellent every time! P.s. they have THE BEST margaritas!!! Try a redeye margarita, it won't disappoint.

A local favorite here in Fremont for many years, the 818 is still going strong for a few good reasons.

1. The food is great. I have never once had a bad meal here. And if you're new I would suggest the Wet Burrito. It's massive, delicious, and inexpensive.

2. The prices. 818 is great for good food on the cheap. Want a good meal that won't bleed your wallet dry? This is a great place for it.

3. The people. Every time I go in, I am met with smiles. The staff are all friendly, make you feel welcome, and seem to be fairly happy working there. Any place that makes it's employees glad to be there is a great place in my eyes. At the same time, that happiness enhances the experience of the customers and makes them happy. That's a win-win.

Ultimately, it's hard to go wrong with the 818 Club. It checks all the boxes of a good place to get a bite to eat If you stop in, be prepared to leave satisfied and happy

Well, It was about 9:20pm. It was our neighbors birthday&as we were sitting next to a rest/bar we've been before. When we saw where neighbor 's wife took him for his birthday&she posted fabulous a pic of the "HUGE" PRIME RIB SPEC. So hubby said see if their kitchens still open?? I did&It was. We called 1st. Then checked if they had any prime rib left. They had a LG one & SM one & we said we'll take them. Then she asked what sides we wanted, we told her & done. When we got there we"just"sat & Immediately out came out salads. Then In timely fashion rest of our meal. Believe me when we say, It was amazing!! Our service was on point as well!!!!

First time here and it surely did not disappoint. So glad we gave it a shot. This is on our list of places to dine at in the near future. We had the Lobster Mac and Cheese and Breaded Veal with Loaded Tots.

Casual local favorite filled with loyal regulars and offering a diverse menu. Prime rib is a special Thursday and over weekend. Good prices, nice bar selection. The homemade house dressing is a poppyseed and yummy.

The 818 has improved so much since Greg and Deb took over as owners! The service is amazing and the food is even better! I highly recommend the 818 if you are looking for a tasty meal at an affordable price!
