Just moved to Fremont last year have have been looking for good food options. GD Restaurant is really good. I had the 4 happiness this time and the pepper steak last time. Both were great and enough to make 2 meals out of(which makes spending the $ worth it). Eggrolls? awesome. Won Ton Soup? fantastic. Good Job.

This place is the bomb. From the outside, it doesn't look special. From the inside, it looks like a dive. It was probably super nice in 1970 when they last remodeled it.

So why do I like this place? The food and the service. My wife knows if we are in the area, we are picking up. They've always been polite and friendly, and the same server has always been there. She even remember my order, though it's easier when your pal steps on their foot.

I definitely recommend the Fancy Tofu, a little crispy. I'm not a big tofu guy, but it's great. A nice serving size and a great price.

They're the best Chinese food in town! The wonton soup and egg rolls are both fantastic! And the golden fingers are always hot and delicious!

Friendly service, neat artwork, HUGE portions and great taste. Lexi was a great server and made our time there very pleasant.

Large portions and great tasting food with large variety. very friendly owner and staff. This is no chain restaurant, they have been a part of this community for +/- 39yrs.

This has been our go to place for Chinese food for years. Only open for carry out since Covid. Best Chinese food around for my money. Great soups, large portions, reasonable prices.

I have been eating here since 1960, the year I moved to Fremont. The food has always been excellent and even though I don't live in Fremont anymore, I sure look forward to picking up dinner for two to go. Excellent quality and always plenty to eat!

The service is always excellent and the prices are very reasonable. you can get a much better meal here than you can at at any fast food restaurant and for less money. Even with the tip. They brought our food out almost immediately after taking the order the soup was good and we had the shrimp and chicken with broccoli that we split the order on. It's always been a good experience at Golden Dragon.

This is take out only. They stopped dining in during covid and have not gone back. All yhe food here is good. We usually get the rib dinner combo plate.

The staff was amazing. The food was delicious. I had the almond chicken combo plate and I couldn't believe the portion sizes. I took half of it home. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere was relaxing and fairly quiet.

I haven't eaten there since 2019 with covid going on and it has always been my favorite, so I really missed it. Well I got it to-go and drove 15 minutes home- it was STILL PIPING HOT to the last bite! This place never fails, thee best Chinese food ever! I recommend the moo goo gai pan, the fried rice and egg rolls 😋

This is by far the best you will get in Chinese and Cantonese cuisine from here to Florida! I've been coming here for thirty years and it's still my favorite! They make the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. The sweet and sour chicken and also the garlic chicken are my top favorites! LOVE this restaurant!

I have been a patron for many years. The food is gourmet Chinese cooked food unlike the other places. The food is so excellent that I could eat it everyday and some weeks I do ! The service is excellent and the owners local to Fremont, Ohio. I have ventured through many locations for Chinese food and The Golden Dragon is by far the very best !

Food is always great. The dumpling appetizers, the wonton soup and the sweet and sour chicken was an amazing meal. Two entrees, an appetizer, two egg rolls and drinks for $25 bucks! Our server was on point. Our food came out fast and my drink was never empty.

I love this place. They give you so much food for a very reasonable price. The service is great too. Its higher quality Chinese. They actually put pineapple and carrots in their sweet and sour sauce. It's the best in town.

Been coming from Sandusky to this restaurant for years. I personally like Chinese buffets over sit and be served because of verity ,but the quality and portions surpass any buffet. From the egg rolls, soup appetizers to the main courses , this food is the best. Always had great waitresses with wonderful service. Always worth the drive.
