COMPASSIONATE AND CARING STAFF!!!

Absolutely adore the staff here! My partner and I had been travelling all day for a medical emergency a few states away and it was so so late when we finally decided to stop, in hopes we could find a room (was memorial day too). This location was absolutely incredible to us! We were traveling with my brother who is in a wheelchair so we needed some special accomodations. The lovely gentleman at the counter was so incredible and insisted on switching us rooms, he felt that we would benefit from a bigger room and didn't even upcharge!! Good, honest, and incredibly compassionate people. The beautiful young woman behind the counter when we went to check out ensured we had everything we needed that night and made sure we were comfortable. Such a genuine soul and was even up to date on our situation and wanted to make sure the room was accommodating for my brother in law as well. Which it was! Most people don't realize wheelchairs won't fit in 99% of hotel bathroom doors so it was incredibly accommodating with a huge, very clean roll in shower, accessible sink and accessible toilet. Would recommend to everyone traveling through!!!

Motel 6 does not give us any hassle about bringing our dogs to spend the night and they do not charge for the dogs. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. The rates are reasonable. I love staying at Motel 6 because they do not hassle you like the rest of the motels too about having the dogs. My dogs are little and they don't make big messes but other motels want like a big deposit to let them spend the night there. Most motels want an extra $20 a dog but Motel 6 lets them stay for free. And they have comfortable beds and the rooms are nice. I will be doing a lot of traveling and staying my nights at Motel 6. Thank you Motel 6 in Santa Rosa!

Rooms are dated but are clean and reasonably priced. Help was courteous and friendly. I have been staying here for close to 20 years perfect stopping point for me.

A nice spot for an overnight trip. Bring your own pillow. But I find that in most motels.

I was ready for the normal motel6 room. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. The bathroom was well stocked with decent towels and very nice vessel sink. I especially appreciated how friendly all the staff were. They are pet friendly and the property had plenty of areas to walk our dog. Best motel6 I've ever stayed at.

Nice room, clerk was friendly and the rate was good. Room was small but it was clean. Shower had lots of hot water. Room had a microwave and refrigerator. Good tv reception with a couple of movie channels. There was hard surface floors instead of carpet. I would stay here again. It was easy on and off of I-40.

The room, the shower, the towels, the sheets we're all clean and fresh. Everything I needed for one night. It would have been nice to have a Refrigerator and a Coffee maker but at this price point it met my requirements.

The rooms have been upgraded to have the wood laminate floors. The sink is regular height and has good counter space. The bathtub and toilet are in their own room, and haven't been upgraded, but we're clean. The tub had new enamel on it, but patches had come off already.

The staff was extremely friendly and got me a nice room on the bottom floor. It's rare to get good pillows, but I really loved theirs! The staff went above and beyond to help me, which I greatly appreciated. And the price was about the lowest in town, too. I'd definitely recommend this place.

The staff was absolutely phenomenal!! A huge family crisis is what actually brought us to the area and they went above and beyond to help with anything that was in their power to do. We are so thankful and appreciative of everything they did for our family, I honestly don't know how we would've gotten through it without Jesse, Jackie and Wanda.....they are absolutely the hidden gems and guardian angels of that place and we were so blessed to have found them.

Clean, comfortable room. Clean shower with lots of water pressure. Comfortable bed. Helpful, friendly staff. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely stay here again. Good restaurant across the street and Dairy Queen next door.

Perfect for a night after a long drive on I 40. The price was cheap as heck and the room was exactly as expected for that rate. Not sure what people think they are getting when paying 50 bucks for a night. There's a bed, TV, shower, fridge, you know, simple things. You could always sleep in the car and save your money but that's super uncomfortable. At any rate, perfect hotel for a night, no complaints from us.

I've stayed at a lot of motel 6 locations and this is the best experience I've had. Mary at the front desk was very friendly and helpful even telling me about the closest restaurants "in case you haven't eaten." My room was CLEAN and we'll kept. The gentleman at the front desk in the morning was also very nice. Keep up the great work!

It's a Motel 6. If you're an elitist, self entitled and selfish person and stay here expecting 5 star room. .. Don't. It's a Motel 6..
But as far as motel 6s go, this one is good. Room is clean, bed was comfortable, and it felt safe. Check in was easy and so was the price on the wallet. This was the only hotel with a room for the dates we were diving, so it was not much of a choice. However if I come here again I'd stay without a second thought. Good hotel for the price.

Clean, comfortable, budget friendly and pet friendly. Don't expect the Hilton, that isn't what they are here for. But we've stayed here several times & will again :) New Mexico is way behind other states in reopening so we spend our vacation dollars elsewhere ( feel bad for their businesses) but Motel 6 in Santa Rosa is almost always a stopping point for us in out drive out west.

Most travels who spend 8 to 12 hours in a car riding are just looking for a clean room and soft bed to get a good nights rest. I've stayed in hotels and motels costing from $30.00 a night to $400.00 a night searching for the "basics". After spending several hundred dollars on a room being very disappointed, I decided to book a room at Motel 6. I was not expecting much. Actually prior to my stay my perception of Motel 6 was that it was a flee bag hotel.

I booked my room through Motel 6's online system which I found to be very easy. When I arrived, the front desk person actually had my reservation that I had booked online.

Back to Motel 6, when I opened the door to my room I was shocked that my key card actually opened the door. My previous experience at another motel was not as positive and at 11PM I had to walk back to the office at another motel and tell them my key card did not work and they issued me another one and I had to walk back to my room and try the second key card -- which finally worked.

Back to Motel 6. So I opened the door and the first thing I noticed was no carpeting. I wasn't sure that I liked that or not. But as I entered the room, I noticed the room was extra clean (even the floor). In some prior hotel rooms, you could hear the carpet crunch as you walked on god knows what on the dirty carpet. After a few minutes in the room I decided I liked not having a carpeted room. The beds were soft and the bedding was clean. The tv worked. Wow had I found it? A motel or hotel that offered just a basic clean room with a tv, soft beds, a clean bathroom.

So I asked myself the question -- All travelers want is a basic clean room for the night. When did that change??? Most hotels and motels now offer: a light breakfast (including make your own pancakes) ... really, if I want breakfast I'll go eat breakfast at Denneys. They offer hot tubs (which most of the time are being repaired) and swimming pools. Most travels stop only want a clean basic room at a fair price. When did it become necessary for hotels & motels to offer all the extras?

Kudos to the cleaning staff that cleaned our room prior to our arrival. You did a great job. I don't travel that often but in the future I'll be staying at Motel 6. By the way, my wife in not easily impressed ... and she was impressed. It's a Christmas miracle!!!

We checked in around 2am on a Monday, and were greated by the kindest, sweetest women working at the front desk named Jessie Leigh. We had called before arriving and she was very helpful over the phone, and once we arrived she let us check out our room before booking, (it was clean) overall it was a great cheap place to lay your head for the night. Also the air works!

Location is great. the room was tidy, the decor a bit dated but for the value, well worth it. This room delivered on all of my needs for the night and all the accommodations necessary for a great value. This is not the first time I have visited a Motel 6 and won't be the last.

I am not giving Motel 6 five stars because it's a five star hotel. Obviously a $40/night motel is not going to have all of the luxuries of a Hilton. However, if you are just looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head down at night after a long day of traveling you should not be disappointed. They allow your pets to stay with no questions asked, which is very important to people traveling with pets. My biggest concern with staying in motels is that they are bug free. Motel 6 passed my bedbug mattress inspection, and for $40/night traveling across county with 2 big dogs I am more than satisfied. Also, the front desk clerk was very friendly. Low reviews based on petty complaints from spoiled people only willing to pay $40/night for a motel is ridiculous. Thank you Motel 6 for not letting our family down and making it possible for our dogs to have a place to sleep too!

Found the cheapest hotel online because it was close to midnight and ww just needed a few hours of sleep. Even after finding the best deal online they gave us a senior discount when we went to pay. The room smelled nice and the beds were very comfortable. We actually left our iPad at this facility and we called and they went and found it and we're going to pick it up on our way back through that town on our way home. The staff is very friendly and helpful I just wish it would have had at least a continental breakfast but otherwise it was good for the price we paid nothing fancy but we didn't need anything fancy
