Westside Motel

The new ownership of this property is really going above and beyond making the accommodations comfortable, secure and functional! The room was quiet and cozy with new updated bathrooms, paint, new furniture and soft comfy bedding and great pillows. I loved the details from scenic photography on the walls to an array of teas and coffees to choose from to extra blankets if needed. Having a fridge and microwave was a great addition as well. Don't let the outside fool you (not saying its bad, its just not as nice as the inside rooms currently) as they are definitely taking priority into getting the rooms comfy and secure first! If I'm ever passing through Walden again, I will absolutely choose to stay here!

Great owner and very helpful. She is the kind of person you could talk to for hours. The rooms are very comfortable and very spacious. I travel and it is nice to have the space to put your things away. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone. The prices are very good and definitely worth your money. It isn't right on the main hi way either so not the constant noise of the traffic experienced at the other places. Thanks Carol for making our stay so enjoyable.

Had a wonderful stay here. Carol is an awesome host and very accommodating. We were upgraded to a another room that happened to be a small house. Very impressive place . Thank you Carol for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay. The owner is very sweet, and locals are friendly. Our room was super cute and clean. Pet friendly!!!! Our dogs loved it as well 😁

I called to reserve a room just a week before an ice fishing tournament and carol the owner accommodated me with no problems.. I actually ended up in one of her "house properties" on main St.. the place was clean and nice and warm for the night..my only problem was I only got to stay there for a few hours as I arrived late and had to get rolling pretty early in the morning and it was a nice room.. thank you for taking care of me on short notice..

Our stay here was awesome. The place was very clean and the owner was VERY friendly. We had a good time here. I highly recommend it to others that are passing through and need somewhere to stay.

Yes it’s open. Happy to have a $60 rate in the summer. She even let me stay a little past checkout which I really appreciated.

Could definitely use better upkeep, but it is had to complain when the price was unbelievable and the owner was as friendly and accommodating as she was. Beds had pet hair from previous customers, bathrooms were very old, but the place was still pretty cozy.

It is a good place to lay your head. Maybe not for some princess who needs everything being perfect. Owners are the salt of the earth.

The place was clean. May not fancy but the ladies were very nice.
