Neat little spot in Walden to stop and stretch your legs and maybe catch a glimpse of some of the wildlife. I usually stop here on my way back to Wyoming and let my dogs get out and burn some steam.

Used this area as a rest stop while driving through. The vault toilet was clean and stocked with paper. The walking path along the prairie was a great place to stretch the legs. Covered picnic area if u need to stop and have lunch.

I've been traveling all around the US on back roads for the past month. This is by far the best rest stop I've come across! Super informative signs, a pit toilet, power outlet! Scenic short trail and covered picnic tables. I highly recommend stopping here!

Nice little rest stop with information on north park and it's wild life and history. Has a flower and grasses lined trail out to a little marsh pond. Saw a few birds, but no moose in my few minutes there.

Nice little rest stop coming into Walden from the south. Vault toilets that are maintained reasonably well. Short trail into a wetlands area, covered picnic area. Didn't see any wildlife but wasn't there long, and obviously season and weather greatly effect the odds of seeing anything. Certainly a great place to stop and stretch the legs 😎
Update:
This is listed as a movie theater (huh?!?!), have tried twice to submit an edit to list as a Park. Even with a picture of the sign at the location, Google claims (automated) it can't verify. I tried

Nice rest stop- scenic with tables and a pit toilet. A little run down and the toilet is kinda gross but I've seen worse. The parking lot is all dirt with some pot holes.
