Cedro Peak Group Campground

Absolutely beautiful ca.45 min to Santa Fe..very quiet, we are the only Camper at the time..no water ..one toilet..clean...the entire place is very clean,no trash anywhere...hiking trails to the lake..good cell reception...$ 9 a night totally worth it, to help maintain this jewel

The park is very nice. Enjoyed a quiet ride up the mountain. The public picnic areas were cleaned and well maintained. A very nice enjoyable place. $3 vehicle fee for day use of picnic areas.

Very nice pavilon with tables.
As another review said there is a lot of undergrowth removal and shredding of same. Very recent.
Fire management.
There are rattlesnakes around, but thats true most places.
Restrooms clean.
No water on site, you need to bring your own.
There is a not functioning spigot at the gated fork in the road.

Fantastic site, beautiful surroundings. Hearing the coyotes and bugs all night was glorious. Spending time with friends and family and having a great time together made it well worth the weekend. The staff we met were amazing and friendly. Thanks, Sandia Ranger District!

Nice place to camp and/or hike. Good roads to most parts of it. Campgrounds open in May. Nice facilities such as numerous bathrooms and picnic tables. Pretty scenery and wildlife. Beware of mountain lions.

Super convenient to the city. Well maintained private picnic/camping area for the whole crew! Definitely a hidden gem!

It has lots of parking, a fantastic shelter, and a safe area to have a bonfire.

Great camp ground for a group. Our church does an annual camp out and it accommodates us all very well. The pavilions and fire pits are great center spots where people can gather. There is enough space that everyone can set up their tents far apart and have privacy.

Beautiful little creek running through it..

High desert outside of Aluquerque. Plenty of room to run and play and host a big party. Covered picnic tables. Restrooms. Plenty of parking, including handicap accessible ramps. Part of our group camped there up to three nights.

I found dispersed camping just up the road from group site. 337 to Juan Thomas to Forest Dr 252 go pass group site til you come to T in road. I chose left. Had an awesome spot.

Nice and clean. Even the outhouse was clean. I would definitely visit again.

This was awesome and my family and I had a wonderful time. There was good cell reception we were close to a cell tower.

Very nice tent camping. The vault toilets smelled pretty good all things considered.

Clean campground, many access points to bike trails. Recently maintained.
