Mansker Station Pub & Pizza

Absolutely fantastic pizza place! . Very unassuming from the outside but the atmosphere and the pizza is sublime. We were in town for the Never Summer 100/60k race in Gould and this place was recommended to us. It did not disappoint!. The waitress I had was amazing and hilarious. Would frequent this establishment constantly if I were from the area!. Thankyou!

Once again, I'm blown away by unexpectedly good food, in out of the way places.
Walden isn't exactly a metropolis, and this place is on the outskirts. Turns out we've been driving by a hidden gem.
We stopped in today, for lunch after driving around the Delaney Buttes. The Italian Sausage pizza had a nicely crisp crust, and just the right amount of everything. Mom concurs.
The inside of the place is neat. Cool decorations, and the view outside is nice. Walden's high enough, to where eating outside is a real possibility even on days that would be hot on the Front Range. You can see for like 20 miles in most directions, and I suspect there could be interesting wildlife to be seen too.
The help looked happy. Our server, Allissa (I"m sorry if I spelled it wrong) had super cool hair, a nice smile, and got our hunger handled in short order.
Thanks, you guys! We pass through Walden 2-3 times a year, and we'll be back!

Wow. I have to be honest, I was shocked at how amazing the food was. The atmosphere is excellent too! Quaint and very laid back. Chicken salad was rocking and the pizza may be the best I've had in Colorado (I'm not joking). I am from Colorado Springs and we stopped in Walden for two days while we visited state parks in the area. Seriously, you need to try this place out and it is very family friendly. You guys have a real gem here!! Outdoor seating too so yea, A++++

Eat delicious pizza, or their other pub type food while looking at some of the most amazing scenery this side the ‘Missippi!! (Say it out
Loud it makes more sense). Oh, they have beers and drinks too. Go for the views, eat the Zatastic fare, and stay for the fun! They also serve tea and water, just in case you wondered. Oh and laughs. They serve up an all around good time. Enjoy!

Nice beer selection as well.
Don't forget to check out the dessert menu, that is if you still have room.

Stopped by on our way back to Walden and had dinner. The pizza is delicious, hot, and crispy. Very clean and welcoming vibe.

Great pizza, great service, and a fun place out where you'd least expect it! We'd been camping in the Routt National Forest for a few days and had to run into Walden for some supplies. We were a bit tired of the campfire food and figured we'd see what we could find for dinner, but with it being a Sunday evening, we thought we might be SOL. Google Maps found this place, so we tried the Calamity Jane and loved it. Went back a couple days later for one more on our way back home.

Don’t miss the turn. Look for the giant MANSKER STATION sign. Turn and go through the gate. This spot is only open three days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Not to be missed to and from Steamboat Springs. The coolest little cabin style pizza joint with a great bar to make those not driving very happy. Highly advise stopping here. Food is fantastic, bartender is a delight to chat with, and owners are awesome.

On a friend’s referral, we stopped in for a late dinner and cold beer. The staff was very nice and we received great service. This place has some of the best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the Jalapeño Popper Pizza. Several great craft beers available. We ended up renting one of the four, studio style cabins. Our cabin had 1 queen and 1 twin bed, coffee station, and full bath. Next time I’m in the area, I will definitely stop in.

Ricardo & company were wonderful! They were close to closing and *still* opened everything back up to make us a couple of pizzas in the freezing weather. The pizza hit the spot and was delicious.

Excellent experience tonight. Pizza was the best I've had in a long time. I think it is actually much better than Beau Jo's in Steamboat! Waitstaff (Brittany) was fantastic. Owner Alisha came over and made us feel welcome, and makes up a fantastic margarita. Overall, a terrific place and experience! We will be back!!

This place saved our skins when we got married in Walden this past September! Our caterer didn't show and they hauled a$$ to make close to 100 pizzas for our guests so they wouldn't go hungry. I honestly don't know where we would be without them! They also hosted our rehearsal dinner the night before and had nice tables set up for us and dedicated servers. The service was excellent and the pizzas were even better!

Drove into town and we decided to turn around and go here instead. Turned out to be a good decision. Atmosphere is unique and has neat antique artifacts all over the place. The older mill saws were an interesting twist to the decor. Food was better priced than city places. All the ingredients were freshly cut unlike commercial chains which gave the wood fired crust the upper hand to beat a homemade pizza. Staff were super friendly and I loved it, wife and kids did too.

Unassuming for sure, but a local gem! Special thanks to the managers for extending so much hospitality to my girlfriend and I in our time of need. Mansker Station has wonderful wood-fired pizza from a long menu with proper variety. Service was quick and efficient, and the management were all extremely hospitable! We spent a night in one of the cabins in the back and were pleasantly surprised by how nice they were. Well furnished, a nice bed and bathroom, I slept well after a long day. I love the peace and silence that we had out on the plains of Walden, and the location of Mansker Station made for an extremely peaceful night! I would have loved to take some photos of the area but unfortunately lost my phone just before arriving so I wasn’t able to. This was a perfect area to be ‘unplugged’ and enjoy the spectacular scenery, the peace and quiet, and the wonderful company. Thanks Mansker Station, for a wonderful meal and a wonderful night.
