Antlers Inn

They were under staffed this saturday, mainly cause people suck nowadays. They kicked some serious butt for us and everyone else there. Our waitress was not only on it, she was really cute too :). The food was great, party of 4 with no complaints. Service was great and this town is awesome.

Wow, love this hotel. The interior is beautiful, the drive up is memorable and the overall vibe is just what you want in mountain town. Very nice staff, easy check in, good prices. Definitely a place I want to make my way back to.

Amazing rooms and helpful staff. Try to check in before 9 p.m. so you can get directions to your room. 10/10 going back in the summer.

Great service even though they were busy. And short staffed they still got us right in and set us down and we didn't even have to wait more than 10 minutes for our food. You go staff.

This place is a gem. Rustic with a lot of class. The sitting room is my favorite!

Great place for a getaway. Didn't actually see any moose, but there was a mouse behind the inn playing hockey. Not something you see everyday.

Antlers Inn was such a pleasant surprise! We arrived late in the evening for a one night stay and our keys were available and check in was simple. This hotel has great character and historical charm. Everyone was nice and the rate was very reasonable. We parked right in front of the hotel on main street overnight. Highly recommend staying here in Walden if you're on your way to Steamboat!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had breakfast in the Cafe. Wait staff was very attentive, food arrive in a timely manner and it was hot. The food was delicious and plentiful.
The building was designed beautifully, and tastefully decorated.
Putting it on my calendar to return here.

Very nice boutique motel in downtown Walden. In all candor, the rooms should be more expensive than the daily rate and they would easily compare to a 3.5 - 4 star hotel rating. The second-floor lobby was classic, rustic, western and one could discern that the owners took a lot of care and thought into the interior setting of the building. Very friendly service and staff members and I would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone traveling to Walden.

Great restaurant!! Nicest place in town! Some of the best comfort food I've ever had...chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak, big burgers, roast beef sandwich! My compliments to the cook! attentive wait staff, Clean, cozy, a diamond in the rough!

What a fabulous find if you like a more western/rustic . Beautiful common area to relax, play games etc. The rooms have wonderful furniture and we're clean. We had a shower head issue on a Sun and we had a new shower head in 30 minutes. Rates very reasonable.

Ok, so this is not a 5 star hotel, but I’m giving it 5 stars for being amazing for where it is located.

The room was huge, bed comfortable, tons of pillows, well appointed bathroom (two shower heads 😅). Super comfortable. A little chilly in the room - perfect for sleeping I my opinion.

Went back for lunch (had business in Walden for the day) after checking out. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful and my salad with chicken was delicious and humongous.

Oh and the price for everything was super reasonable. The temperature in Walden was -14 this morning so not sure I recommend traveling there, but if you need to be there, you need to stop at the antlers inn.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short visit. The room was great. It was so quiet, it was easy to relax. Food is great and service is better. The waiters, front desk, bar staff, were all just fantastic. Seemed that everyone had a smile on their face. Will surely return.

When I visit while traveling and stay in little towns as of this one I see history in the mountains and towns in the making, may seem like it's run down to some, but not to me. I see it as if this town could talk I'd have to grab a beer and seat and listen to the beauty of the town and the people who made its history. Look around you and forget about yourself center self for a moment and see the beauty of your surroundings and the people who made it happen.

Feels like it should be on a national historical registry. Beautifully maintained old-time frontier-style hotel. A unique experience and a great value.

This is a more traditional style hotel. The rooms are not large but they stylish with all the accommodations I expected. There is a shared "library" with a deck overlooking the street. You can drink a glass of wine and sit on the deck or chat with friends inside.

Convenient and comfortable. A Relaxing respite. Perfect for intermissions between mtn adventures. Restaurant conveniently located downstairs, the hotel is a short trip up stairs. You’ll fall into the giant comforter on the bed and feel like you just made it. You’ll wake up fresh and ready. At least we did. Then went and read by the fire and had breakfast in the giant living room. Board Games available up there.. Easy checkin. Ahhhh…Antlers Inn.. zzzzzzz…

The River Rock Cafe always has excellent service! They are friendly, fast, and mindful of the fact that children don't like to wait. The restaurant is always clean and the food is consistently fulfilling.
