We had our small wedding here and the staff were SUPERB. So helpful and accommodating to us and all of our guests all weekend. I wish the Cafe was open, but they were helpful to let let us store our stuff in their kitchen to make it work.

Cabins are great and they were a little toasty without a/c, but it wasn't too bad. Loved the place though and is the perfect spot for a big group or just a weekend away with your loved one. Definitely going back.

In the duplex cabin I had concerns about hearing through the wall but we couldn't. There's no real storage for luggage or hanging but thankfully we had an extra room that we were able to use for this purpose. It's a real log cabin and was very cozy and nicely decorated with lots of natural light and many lamps too. To keep it cool you have to be diligent about opening the windows at night and closing first thing in the morning. Following that protocol, we were very comfortable. We could see the river and glow from sunset reflecting on the water from the table in our living area. The hot tubs was very clean and seemed pretty new even!

They were hesitant to provide the WIFI at the cafe so for better or worse be prepared for limited connection to the outside world.

We did try to have a fire but found that the wood by the ring was soaked by the sprinkler and despite all of our best efforts, couldn't light it, so if you'd like a campfire I suggest talking to them ahead of time.

The rafting and biking with ROW were awesome. She didn't give us anything that we couldn't handle. We'd never kayaked white water before but felt very safe in our own tandem kayak. With the guide nearby in raft with the 3 person group. When I found I couldn't tackle the hills on the bike, she was happy to keep biking along the river on the dirt road past a beautiful waterfall and cute bridges. We even picked fresh thimble berries and cherries along the way.

Dinner at Syringa Cafe is delicious. I really liked the squash ravioli and desserts. They also have a large selection of wine. I was surprised to learn upon arriving that with the "all inclusive" you technically do not get to pick your dinner, its w/e the chef is making. However, as a vegetarian who hadn't been told, they obliged me. FYI, because I wasn't sure before arriving "all inclusive" does not include any drinks with dinner. It does include a small starter salad and daily changing delicious dessert.

The breakfast baskets weren't anything special (some oranges or apples, yogurt (with gelatin), hard boiled eggs, bagel) which was a little disappointing given how much it costs ($400 for 3 days of food [2 adults]). The packed lunches (simple sandwich [tomato, cheese, onion, hummus, pickle], chips, orange, can of soda) were also just okay so next time I would think about bringing my own.

It's a beautiful spot and we really loved it. It was hard to get a lot of information about it ahead of time since all of the booking is via another city. I hope this review will be helpful.

The staff was awesome and dinners included in our package were delicious. We stayed in a Glamping tent which was roomy with a comfy bed and the soaking tub out back was definitely a plus. We look forward to returning and plan to stay in a cabin next time.

I stopped here for lunch on the last leg of a very long road trip with my two youngest kids. The food was incredible! The environment was so calm and pleasant. The staff was even better! They were so sweet and friendly even though the three year old completely melting down and having to be carried out screaming. Totally unphased and professional and sweet from start to finish. We'll definitely be coming back sometime when everyone is well rested!

Great place with the kindest, most helpful employees. Seriously they ALL go out of their way to make your stay and your vacation the best it can possibly be. We did the guided Selway river float and mountain biking, and then additional hiking on our own. All of it was amazing and beyond beautiful. The food was great, the cabin was very clean, and the hot tub was a nice addition. We will definitely find a chance to return in the future and we would recommend it to any and everyone!!

Beautiful place. We stayed in a glamping tent and we loved it. The service staff were all very nice and took the time to chat with us during our stay. Rafting the Lochsa was amazing. All other rivers seem a little less exciting now!

Amazing! I booked a "glamping" trip for my husband's birthday, and having not ever gone glamping, we were unsure what it would be like. It was a million times better than our expectations, which were already high! I loved it there, everyone there was so friendly and helpful with everything, even pointing us to different activities we could do in the area. The food was amazing as well as the drinks. It was the best weekend I've had in a long time, and I can't wait to book another trip there! I will and already have recommend this to anyone and everyone I know!

This is our third year at River Dance. We stay in the glamping tents because they are truly an experience: roughing it in style. The staff is wonderful: Jodi and her dog Echo oversee all and spoiled us with delicious food. It’s peaceful. We went to rest, read, nap, and swim in the Clearwater at the beach at Three Devil. This place is magical. We will make this an annual retreat. We highly recommend. GO!

River Dance has some of the friendliest people in Idaho. From the waitress to the manager, everyone is very helpful and informative. My wife and I went for our second anniversary and we'll definitely be going back next season. The rafting is top notch and our guide, Julia, knew the river forward and backward. Ayla, the manager, was more than happy to assist us with anything we needed and answered all of our questions.

The food is great.
The staff is friendly.
The rafting is superb.

Go already!

Great location! Surrounding of mountains, trees and river. Perfectly solid wood build cabins, full equipped kitchen, one bathroom, and easily accommodate a group of 5, using the master queen vs, two individuals and one sofa bed. The outdoor Jacuzzi is perfect! The food is excellent, a big surprise for a cabin place. A hidden paradise!

This review is not about the River Dance Lodge but ROW Adventures Lochsa River rafting trip, and it was awesome! Peter, Seamus, and Acadia are all professional, friendly, fun guides. Their good-natured teasing of each other and our group of nine made the day feel like a family reunion. The trip was fantastic, lots of class III and IV rapids all handled calmly and confidently. Even when my daughter went over the side at Horsetail rapids, fishing her out happened quickly and efficiently with a minimum of fuss. These guys are great. Highly recommended.

Another great experience at River Dance Inn and rafting the Lochsa with ROW. Facilities were great , staff very friendly and helpful. The guides were awesome. We tested their expertise as we tried out the "Lochsa swim". The Lochsa as usual, does not disappoint. Overall great experience.

My parents glamped and I camped at the riverdance lodge last week and we had a great time! The glamping was so cute, my parents loved it! The glamps came with wood for the fire, which was awesome!. Everyone that worked there was so nice, the customer service was great! There is no cell phone service, which was actually nice. The lodge is literally right across from the river.

Incredible! Very nice cabin, very friendly staff, and fantastic food. Amazing getaway location due to no signal and limited wifi only at the office/dinner. Really helps in force the fact that a vacation is for you to disconnect. Really just an awesome place.

We loved it so much we stayed a additional night. Personal hot tub was awesome. Slept all 7 of us. We spent Easter there with our three kids my mother and sister. No wifi in the cabins tho.

River Dance Lodge is a great place to get unplugged from the rest of the world. They do have Wi-Fi but I would recommend just completely going cold turkey with no contact to the outside world. The cabins are beautiful, every single one of them has a hot tub outside. And the food was delicious, I felt like a queen every time I went to eat.
They also have that tivities that you can add onto different packages, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, hiking, Etc.

Delightful place to get away from it all (no cell service or wifi). It was relaxing just to simply sit on the front porch of the log cabin and read a book or sit in the hot tub and enjoy the view of the Clearwater river. The river float was so much fun and the food at the cafe was incredible! Will return as soon as we can, next time to raft the Lochsa!

Wonderful Place to visit! Nestled in the Clearwater forest in the tiny town of Syringa, a must do if you're traveling through! The food is fabulous, the glamping tents are amazing! Each with their own private hot tub! An old claw foot tub, heated by propane! A fabulous experience all around!

Had a great time staying in the glamping tents. The sound of the creek just outside was soothing as we slept. The rates are cheap and having the options of full packages for rafting and breakfast made it very convenient.
