Gonzalez Mexican & American Restaurant

We ate breakfast there, it was delicious, I will definitely eat there again when I'm in the area.

First time here with my family and the atmosphere is very laid back and calm. The food tastes very good and fresh. The portions are a bit small but not too terrible. Overall I do recommend it.

Absolutely great. I had the fish tacos, they tasted lovely and had just the right amount of spice. It is definately worth stopping by if you are in the area.

Very nice staff and the food was good. We ordered chicken, pork burritos and Denver omelette. Everything was delicious!

This place has a little run down look from outside but it was anything but run down ! It was very clean and neat atmosphere and the service was over top and polite !! And I am a chili verde lover and theirs was some of the best I have ever had and I would rate their complimentary chips and salsa at that same level. I drove over an hour for this meal and I would do it again tomorrow. Great job Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant !! 🥰

Don't let the looks deceive you. They were very busy and the place isn't very big. If you have to wait, it's worth it. Servers were nice and the food was GREAT!
Definitely worth going to if you like Mexican food.

This is a great little Mexican restaurant. The service is great and the staff is wonderful. The food was amazing and made perfectly. Parking is tight but there was a open place to sit.

This place is a must, the food is always excellent! The staff is great and super friendly.

I really enjoyed the food.
I don't eat an sit down places much, so I didn't know what the correct protocols were, but there is a sign that says to seat yourself.
It was reasonably quick to get my order in, and the food wasn't too long. There weren't too many free chips, but really, the main order was PLENTY. I ordered one of the more expensive items, and it was totally worth it. I think it was the Gonzalez Plate with shrimp and steak. This was the best food I had on my trip to Yellowstone, and that's saying something because I stopped here on a whim, and the eateries near Yellowstone are very competitive.
This is a smaller place, so it probably can't accommodate a large group.

Spent last week in Soda Springs. Had the Pollo de Monterey and it was amazing. Huge portions for your buck.

This was excellent. Super good food, fast, and VERY affordable. The food had large portions, they could have charged 2x the price and I would pay that. We will be stopping by again next time we are in town. Excellent service, loved the service.
