Tried for the first time in years. Double meat green chili burger was great. People can’t complain about the price everyones doing it if you can’t afford it don’t eat out. I’d almost compare it to five guys burgers but they have actually gotten worse over the last few years. This place is my new big messy burger place, and they have green chili!

Went there the first time last week. The burgers were amazing. Meat was so fresh. GM was so friendly and told us the meat comes from a farm in Iowa and that Burger Boy grinds that meat into hamburg right on the premise. The sweet girl who took our order was very welcoming and kind. We'll be regulars! Thanks!

Burger Boy is absolutely one of the BEST places in Cedar Crest, and an essential part of East Mountain dining! They have been here for years and have served thousands of satisfied customers. The staff is hard-working, friendly, and simply amazing.

I recently heard some bad reviews have been circulating & honestly feel people will complain about anything, just to complain.

When you come here (and you'll seriously be missing out if you don't), expect a wait, OR ORDER AHEAD! If you like crispy bacon, say so. If you don't want something that usually comes with your order, mention it. **Expectation management is part of adulting.**

My new favorite hamburger place. I ordered a plain cheese burger cooked medium, and they nailed it. The meat was very tasty. Turns out they grind their meat fresh daily. Well worth the drive from Albuquerque.

Our reference standard green chili cheeseburger was delicious. The mildly spicy, fresh green chili made the burger special. Forty plus years and this is still the one. Way to go Burger Boy.

This is the type of burger place that I’m looking for when I travel across the country on my motorcycle. And I shady spot to park the people were friendly the place was busy but I only had to wait about five minutes for my burger. The owner came out and asked if I would try a new type of bun making it clear that they’re always trying to make the food better and they did not disappoint. My double bacon green chili cheeseburger was on fire. The fries are fresh cut and fried to perfection and one of the customers loves the business so much that he sitting at the counter taking orders to speed things along. It was nice to see young people working behind the counter with wise leader ship and an owner that takes true ownership of her business. She said her mother is 97 years old and still works in the business. If you’re looking for a hearty old fashioned cheese burger look no further than burger boy when your in the East Mountains of Albuquerque New Mexico

**Edit to say** I went back and ordered the buffalo burger and had a much more flavorful experience. Also, the place was much busier with more staff presence. Redeemed to 5 stars.

This spot is quiet and clean, the service is friendly and the food is made to order. My only disappointment was that there wasn't much flavor. The fries had a light seasoning and were crunchy, but the burger needs something. I only tasted green chili (even that had a faint flavor) and cheese. I ordered no cheese, there was still cheese on my burger, but I didn't know how much that burger needed the cheese. It did make a difference and IF I go back, I will likely get extra cheese since that was the most flavorful part of the burger. This place is great for those with a sensitive pallet. The food is fresh and juicy, but don't be afraid to reach for the salt and pepper shakers on the table. Happy munching 😊

Calm, peaceful atmosphere. Cheerful attentive staff. The swiss mushroom burger with onion rings were the best I've had since moving up North!

Came to order to go. Friendly service, would come back. Also learned you can order on line and they have a pickup area in the back of the building.

What a gem! Do you like tots, onion rings or fries? Doesn't matter, they have em all!! Had a Chile relleno burger today and friend had a Buffalo burger. Both were excellent! Make the drive

This place is excellent it is just what you would expect from a little family-owned restaurant I'm not understanding why all the crybabies on here are complaining about the price this isn't a giant chain of restaurants things work a little bit differently and also they cry about the wait times I want you to go home and cook burgers I want you to go home and see how long it takes you to serve 3 to 7 people freshly made burgers Fries and other things like that the employees are great the food is good the only thing I didn't care for what's the disrespectful little construction worker I'm hoping isn't actually associated with the company let's just say he was lucky I was in a great mood because of the service of the employees at Burger boy

First time stopping in. Ordered a green chili cheeseburger and fries. The spiciness of the burger was perfect for me. It wasn't so spicy I couldn't eat it, but you knew the green chili was there. I picked up my meal from the back window and the server was excellent. I'll be back.

One of the best burger places in the East mountain area, especially if you're just passing through on a little day trip to Sandia Peak. Super good food, laid back environment with outdoor seating during nice weather, and awesome staff. Prices are great for the quality of fresh made food!

Been going there for many years. Located in the Sandia mts. Cedercrest is a beautiful mountain community. Food is always great!

The food is excellent, but a bit overpriced! We had a double burger with chili with frys, a cheese burger with bacon withsmall frys, a kids meal and 3 small lemonade, it was over $70.
Service very friendly and fast. Fantastic pictures from sweet happy-sad memories on the walls. The furniture needs some love.

For a small family owned restaurant, they never disappoint me their burgers are made fresh, and I'm definitely coming back.
