We stopped on our way up the highway from a camping trip in southern Arizona. This place is fabulous. So clean and incredibly organized. Everything was beautiful from the meat to the produce to the fresh tamales, tortillas and salsa. We bought so much and enjoyed everything. The marinated beef steak and pork chops, awesome! Rib eyes to die for. Delicious chicaronnes. I wish we lived closer. I’d be there every week!

Amazing store, and locally owned

I love this place, they not only make the best red chile tamales for miles around they have the best meat too. I buy ribeye steaks here regularly and the meat cutters are always friendly and knowledgeable and will pick a great cut for you if you ask. They carry fresh produce that is always good and their marinated meats are ready to throw on the grill and are just awesome. They also carry a vast assortment of mexican foods and spices, it's just a really great place for meats and anything mexican, you can even buy a grill to cook on here, you have to stop and see them you won't be disappointed.

This Market is very welcoming and comforting. A big plus is the amount of fresh produce that is well kept. Excellent cuts of meat, and seafood for any occasion with your grilling making breakfast or having hors d'oeuvres. My kids the selection of Mexican candy.

I love this AZ treasure. Stopped in by chance one day and found the most amazing meats and traditional foods. Brought a friend on my next visit and he is hooked also. 5 stars isn't enough.

To welcome you in, outside the store, Mexican music is playing. We danced from the van to the front door! Inside is a fabulous carniceria (butcher shop) with slabs of beef and pork, as well as chicken, shrimp and ceviche (a fresh raw fish delicacy). Everything looks so good. Just look at the fresh fruits and vegetables, and candies with chili. (I still haven't mastered that taste.) The best of all are the home made beef and corn tamales. So juicy and hot! On a weekend we make the two and a half hour trip to savor all the joys of Mexican food.

Clean, friendly, and an excellent selection. Should be on your list if you are passing through Mammoth. If you live in a nearby town, this local fresh food source might save your life.
