Big Muddy Airstrip

Landed our 4 seater here one afternoon. Had a sandwich, took and nap and flew out early evening. Not much going on there but if you want a truly quiet spot on planet earth for lunch it’s not bad.

Did not fly in, drove to the ranch (road is next to strip). Asphalt appeared in good shape. Careful of hills & obstructions. No services to be had, but did you really expect there would be?

The locals are pretty fashionable! Despite a high number of street people, I do see a lot of Rolls Royce's. I do not recommend the salad bar or the beer.

LOL - love the jokes. But as a General Aviation pilot, just want to clarify that the airfield is called Big Muddy Ranch (2OR1) - not what it’s named here on Google Maps. Elevation is 1,641’ and 4,185’ length. No gas or services on the field, as it’s a Christian camp now. Runway is good asphalt. Fly safe! 🙏🏽😎❤👍🏼
