It was a great experience, my husband enjoyed it a lot and so did our son. Make sure to show up a few minutes before the show starts to get good seats. There are plenty of seats but the sun will be hitting you on the face or you'll be watching from the side lines.

Jousting at the Renaissance festival is so fun! It's great to cheer for you knight. I recommend getting there early to find a spot on the bleachers in the shade. We like to go to the 12:00 tournament and eat lunch while we sit in the shade.

What a great event! The Renaissance Fair is the kind of place where you feel like you stepped back in time. The Jousting was as realist as it comes.
I highly recommend the trip

A raucous good time was had by all. The jousting performance is a definite must see at the Arizona Renaissance Festival. The contests are exciting and dynamic. The event keeps the tradition alive and is a fun representation of what used to be serious business.

Knights are always amazing, but the work is done by the squires. Those guys the real MVPs

As usual a fun day in the Sun with all the amazing people at the Ren Fair. My son loved the mermaid and the elephants. All of the people working the various attractions and shops were great with my son (who has autism) and the group of friends he invited there for his birthday celebration.

It was really fun. Our guy lost, and was a poor loser, to be sure.....but it's a show, afterall.
