Edit: as the new owners hace been there theyve taken what made georges the best Italian family restaurants in the area into a shell of itself. They need to change the name. The food is not good. Its not familyn oriented. Went with NY kids at a normal hour, they didn't have anything my kids would eat anymore. They saw my kids putting money over and over in the juke box and wouldn't play the songs, they had a love band coming and didn't inform us. When the band came they moved us in what used to ben1 of 3 original eating areas, but it was just a storage room. I took one of my kids to the Car and waited for the rest of my fam to finish. I can't speak on the night vibes of it but don't expect Italian food or family vibes.

Best club in Brockton, I had an amazing experience at the club with my friends, great music and vibe , good atmosphere and great food, I highly recommend it to everyone. This is the first place that I ever been to in my life where white folks, black folks, Latinos, Cape Verdeans all have a super awesome time under one roof. This is definitely the United Nations. This is a hidden gem in Brockton. It’s the best go to spot in Brockton. I see a lot of bad reviews and came to check it out for myself. This place has a lot of haters. But, no one throws a rock at a tree that does not bear fruit.

Really wonderful atmosphere the food and live entertainment was amazing!!! Definitely would recommend every and anyone who enjoys great food drinks and live music to check out this establishment!

Wow wow wow!!! I read a lot of emotional reviews of people being negative due to the owner changing which is so unfortunate because the food here was AMAZING. People have to let go of the past and enjoy what this place has to offer now. Every item we ordered was so tasty and full of flavor! I felt this was a well-needed review because it’s truly worth the trip to George’s especially if you still appreciate authentic ethnic, quality food. My family and I will definitely visit Georges again.

Great restaurant with excellent service! I’ve been to this establishment several times for lunch and dinner and was treated with great service every time. The bartender and server were all nice and friendly. Highly recommend this restaunt to family and friend.

My 4th visit to George's and was a totally delightful trip. The octopus stew dish was a gem, really tender and tasty, well balanced by sweet aromatic peppers.

The fried chicken wings came out plum and juicy in a nice size portion and were deliciously marinaded. The show stopper for me were the sweet potato fries 🍟. Sweet crunchy and moist all at the same time to the perfect degree.

Definitely heading back to George's soon to try out the other dishes. Well done George's. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing!! George's hosted our rehearsal lunch for our wedding. Very accommodating and excellent hospitality, I highly recommend them. Everyone in our group was raving about the chicken parm. The meatballs, pasta, salad, and drinks were delicious too. We had a group of 24 and we were in the function room which was nice and private for our party. We even had our own private restrooms. Great food, great prices, great atmosphere. Hamilton was a terrific host.

George's is a nice friendly cozy atmosphere. I love both sides, the live music and DJ's. Their staff members work as a team, they show much respect. They have Great service, Great Food and Drinks. Good Vibes!!!

Although not the George's I remembered; the food was excellent. I ordered off of the special menu. (The Baked Stuffed Haddock.) It came with a generous portion of farm style vegetables and potato. The service was their own style. I'll just say be prepared to roll with it. The food is worth the price. I'll go back again.

I ordered fish & chips very delicious. My grandson ordered grilled octopus and loved it.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The renovations really bring the restaurant alive.
I plan on going back for live music.

This was my first time going since new ownership. The chicken and broccoli Alfredo was very good. The broccoli was fresh and not overcooked. The chicken had excellent flavor. In addition, the waitstaff was very attentive.

The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. The food was great, I recommend the wings and the shrimp pasta! You will not regret it! The owner and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back to try more options on the menu.

We have had both breakfast and dinner from here. So delicious and the portions are even better! The mozzarella sticks are so yummy and I highly suggest grabbing them as an appetizer! They are now on Door Dash which is great in case you don't feel comfortable going in to eat due to Covid-19. Our new favorite local spot that's for sure!!

This place is a classic and should not be missed for anyone. Great food from a very diverse menu. Good value. Convenient off street parking in the back. Been counting this establishment for 20-plus years. It's only been in business for 80 years! Don't miss it. Monday and Tuesday pound of spaghetti two meatballs chicken parmesan into Italian sausages and garlic bread for under $13. And their sauce is excellent flavor and consistency. Don't miss out on a classic Ikon.

An absolute classic for more than 60 years. Fantastic "Cape Cod" style pizza (smaller slices, broiled toppings). Decent beer and wine list. The bar, in the original building, is a must-visit for anyone visiting Brockton to take-in the Boxing history and culture. A childhood favorite of mine in the 1980s and still great today! I hope new ownership doesn't change the menu much. It isn't broken!

First visited George's Café in November of 2013 and was pleasantly surprised. They have a full menu of original Italian Cuisine and cover the special dishes the kids love. Their chef's are more than happy to accommodate your special requests and even cook from scratch with local produce and groceries. George's seafood is always same day fresh and cooked to perfection. Top 10 restaurant in my opinion.

We had a great experience overall. We ordered grilled octopus and grilled fish. The food was delicious!!!! I would totally recommend this place, real authentic Cape Verdean Food!! 10/10 👌🏽

It’s not fancy but the food is absolutely delicious. The employees are super friendly. This was my first visit and I’m definitely coming back.

This place is kind of like an old school Italian restaurant. The food is lights out!! The atmosphere is warm and traditional. When you look at the menu you want one of everything. Try the chicken parmesan. You won't be disappointed! And if you're a vegetarian I hear the eggplant parmesan is a good choice as well.
