This place was so good and the staff was so friendly. This was about the only place open in town on Sunday evening when we stopped through. The place was packed with people waiting to be seated as well but we were seated pretty quickly. There wasn’t a long wait for our meals either. We sat out front and enjoyed taking in the scenery. Definitely worth checking them out!

Had two great meals here. The first one took a good while but the restaurant gave us free pie to make up for it and it really did! 🥧 We ate both inside and outside and both had nice things about them. The bathroom also had the funniest sign in it!

Let me start off by saying I am a hard girl to please, especially with food. The steak was 20/10! I never eat steak without A1 but this didn’t need it. I ordered it with a baked potato and upgraded to a loaded. Even the vegetables were delicious (just a mix of peas and carrots) but SO good. And with a grilled garlic clove too!! What! We drove 27 hours from home and this is our first vacation out west, disappointed with food along the way and exhausted from not being nourished correctly, the Cowboy Cafe surpassed our expectations and they understood the assignment. We will be back to see Dubois Wyoming every year until we die! America needs this town and we have to support it with everything we have. Thank you to the hard working staff at the Cowboy Cafe and the residents that keep this town and its stores functioning for people like us! Much love forever and may God bless you all!

Neat little Cafe in Dubois. A lot of burger, plate, and homemade dessert options. Definitely stop and eat here, the locals do! Make sure you ask for the buttermilk pie 😉

This cafe had such a homey vibe, raw edge wood furniture, delicious smells, and such friendly service. The food was incredible, I had the chicken fried steak with green chili and cowboy potatoes with an appetizer of pepper poppers. It felt like food for the soul, with enough of a portion size for two meals. If I had any room, I would have tried the pie. It looked amazing. 10/10 recommend if you ever end up in Dubois Wyoming.

Best breakfast we’ve had so far while in Wyoming! And it’s not a tourist trap kind of place, very reasonable prices!

Great cafe with excellent food and atmosphere in downtown Dubois. The combination of cafe decor with both locals and tourists dining gives this establishment the genuine western vibe. The menu is surprisingly sophisticated with a good combination of hearty and innovative fare. All three meals here were memorable and satisfying. Service was very good even though you can sense that they are like every other business right now in that they are lacking enough employees. Kudos to the cook and wait staff for doing such a great job. Will definitely return when back in Town. Also when dining here you should absolutely save room for the amazing pies!!!

We ate a great meal here. The hamburgers and steak burrito were delicious. Not a lot of inside seating. It seems to be a pretty popular place. Lots of people coming in to eat. The pie Ala mode topped everything off perfectly.

We visited twice in the past week. On our first visit they were very busy. They had a person who took people to tables, got menus and drinks as well as clearing tables. This allowed the other two or three of the wait staff to take orders and deliver food. They were very efficient and friendly. Food was very good! On our second visit my husband and I shared an avocado burger with supper yummy sweet potato fries so we had room for dessert! The Toffee Pecan pie that I had was yummy (heated and a la mode). My husband enjoyed his Apple Blackberry pie!

After driving through Wyoming we wanted a place with great food. As you walk into the cafe, friendly voice greets you and says to sit anywhere. Informal atmosphere, good variety on the menu. It was hard to choose. Friendly wait staff. Food was delicious, and pie is their specialty. The filling of the boysenberry was just the right combination of sweet and tart. The crust was doughy, not flaky. Cowboy cafe was just what we needed after a long drive on a freezing day. Might go again tomorrow.

Amazing service. The server worked hard for everyone in the restaurant. Great quality food. My wife and daughter loved their steaks. I tried the Chicken Fried Steak with Mushrooms and swiss and it was fabulous. The cowboy potatoes had the right of spice and peppers. We would be regulars if we didn't live 3 1/2 hours away.

Such a great find on our way home from the Grand Tetons vacation. The old time decor was fitting and the food was absolutely delicious. Good portions and service was fast and hometown friendly. We loved it so much we bought some of their merch and took pictures out front. Oh and the coffee was terrific!!!

Found this gem after hours of nothing. Beautiful place with a warm welcome. We got sat right away with a full pitcher of water. Stacy was quick and recommended the supreme biscuits and gravy with spicy elk sausage which was love at first bite. We also had the house cured corned beef hash. I couldn't stop myself! The bowl of green chili was amazing too! (get it with onions). Thank you Cowboy Cafe staff we are thankful for you!

Best place for pie near Grand Tetons!
Staff was working very hard and did a great job handling the busyness and the chaos Profesionally and politely, please be patient as they are understaffed.
Went for both dinner and breakfast! Expect to wait at least 30 minutes before being seated. You have to get your name on a list to get into line. You can also order takeout and get your food in 15-20 minutes.
Dinner: The ribs were very flavorful, and the sweet potato fries were a crowd favorite. We ordered pumpkin, peach, and toffee pecan pie. Pumpkin and toffee pecan were the best ones.
Breakfast: Chipotle avocado toast with basted eggs, French toast W/ whipped cream, pumpkin pie, toasted sourdough with pesto tomato, and bacon. All of it was very fresh, flavorful, and settled well in our tummys. Coffee was ok, nothing special.
Got some nice T-shirts as souvenirs.
