Animal Medical Center

I have been taking my pets to Animal Medical Center for almost thirty years and there is no other place I would trust the care of my babies. They oversaw the care of my dog his entire thirteen years he was with me, every problem, every concern and were with me at the end. They were like family to me throughout that process and they have been taking care of my cats for years now. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, diligent, skilled and trustworthy. In addition, one of my cats I have now has been quite aggressive with them ever since Covid and having to be seen without me being present but they are excellent with him and they never say anything. I also board my pets there for vacations and they receive excellent care. I’ve never had one problem and never have to worry while I’m gone. I’m truly appreciative of all the staff for being there for my family and my fur babies.

They took good care of my fur babies... I just wish they have more time to help people with low income families to fix their fur babies . So they can't keep having babies. They only do it maybe three times out of a year. And it cost so much just to fix them. But yet y'all want to control the animal population. Make it make since now. And also when they do help it's only a certain limit they can do up to.

My poor, 7 month old puppy had been suffering diarrhea since I adopted him 7 weeks ago. He was sent home from the shelter on antibiotics, then given 2 additional rounds of treatment by original vet. I boarded him at that vet for 2 nights and she still couldn't give me answers. He was steadily losing weight and becoming more weak. I read reviews for the animal medical center of Danville and they were all great, so I decided to get a second opinion. I'm SO glad I did, I truly believe they saved his life! Without hesitation, one of the veterinarians there prompted X-rays and blood work. She quickly came to a diagnosis and game plan. Just 2 days later, he has gained a little weight, his poop is forming, he has energy again and he hasn't been throwing up! I'm so lucky to have came across them. I will forever be grateful!!

Today is the first time coming here. And they were able to get my Ace in on a Sunday thankfully. And there prices are great compared to going to an vet emergency hospital. The total cost was less than an exam at a vet hospital. I highly recommended this place

Very good. My pet passed away and they were informative and handled the situation with care. They were also able to get me in very quickly due to the urgency of the situation.

The staff is really nice. We take our 8 year husky there for the doggy daycare, she loves it. She is so tired every night there. The workers take pictures of the dogs there which is nice. Our dog looks like she really like it there in the pictures

I would follow Dr. Luffman to the end of the earth to treat my babies! I have been to almost all other vets in the area, and she is definitely THE BEST. I appreciate her honesty and not sugar coating things. I can't handle a "try this and come back" type of vet so meeting Dr. Luffman was the best thing to happen for my pets! I will always recommend her, and will always keep coming back!

I've been taking animals to vets for over 40 years in several states. Animal Medical Center of Danville has THE most caring, efficient, professional, supportive doctors and staff I've ever taken my animals to. Hands down. Each person there does the absolute best that they can. Cheers to these loving people!

The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. My dog needed several shots and they were able to get him seen at the last minute on a Friday! You can't beat that! The Dr. was very nice and friendly as well . I highly recommend this place for all your pets needs.

AMC did a great job with our rescue doodle for his neuter surgery. My family has used this office for many years and various pets and they always take good care of them.

This was my wife’s dog’s vet(Lucy)the Dr’s and stuff treated her so awesome,and it was this same vet that unfortunately put her to sleep in 2020 she had cancer and severe arthritis,and I was fortunate enough to be on FaceTime with my wife when it happend,and now my dog,he is treated so well,I do believe he likes it here a lot better then PetSmart who smacked Lucy once.Lucy is the rough collie and chesty is the American Bulldog mix

Always helpful. They have cared for many generations of my family pets - dogs and cats and I am forever grateful for the care they have provided.

I think it is cool that your dog's vet can also be the doggy day care. My dog loves it here cannot wait to get there everyday. In recent months she has been there more than with me. The only two things I don't like is if your dog boards and they have medication that needs to be given they will charge you for that. Also, if you have a doggie day care pass and you need to board you cannot use a day or two of the pass to cover it. I only mention this because I was told it was okay by the daycare attendant but then front office said no. Outside of that the ladies are pleasant and my dog enjoys herself. After being here and she gets home she is exhausted.

Went on a Sunday, no extra charge, very nice and helpful staff. We were a walk in and due to our dogs condition we went straight in.

Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, affordable. All the things you would want and need in veterinary care. My 9 year old, male German shepherd was hit by a car & his femur was broken in half. It was an awful break that required quite a bit of hardware and extensive TLC from the doctors and staff at Animal Medical Center. From the moment he was taken in, until the day I picked him up, he was in the best care possible. I received daily updates from the doctors, Dr. Shinew & Dr. Luffman. He has a long road to recovery but we are on the right path, thanks to Dr. Shinew, who preformed the surgery & looked after our guy. 10/10 recommend Animal Medical Center for all of your veterinary needs, from annual vaccinations & boarding, to orthopedic surgery. Their receptionists, veterinary technicians, and all other staff were very friendly, caring, & helpful. Each staff member that I came in contact with, knew our sweet boy by name and gave goodbye lovens, which spoke volumes to me as a fur momma. Grateful to have such great animal care & resources in our area.

I had found a kitten on my porch this morning, and I was referred by a friend to come here. I'm glad I did bc they were able to take him and give him the care he needed. Highly recommended

Really pricey compared to other vets, but my baby was well taken care of.
