Great place worth stopping at. Their fried rice is something special also.

They offer all the normal Chinese food options, plus fried chicken and steaks for people that don't want general tso or crab wontons 😀

First off, do not let the location sway your decision to eat here! I have eaten at tons of Chinese food restaurants and this is hands down THE BEST YET! Everything we ordered was cooked fresh, cooked to perfection, and the flavors were phenomenal! We drove there over 30 minutes after a friend recommended them and it was well worth the drive! This is our go to spot for now on when we get that craving for authentic delicious Chinese food! Also, if you get Julio as a waiter, you are very lucky because he is amazing! The only real complaint that we have is that it was a little too dark where we were seated, but for great food, who really cares?! A must try spot if you are in the area!

We've ordered takeout during COVID and it was always really good but the dining room's back open so I got to go inside for the first time. I have a light sensitivity and most restaurants are very modern well lit up. This one is very traditional inside and dimly lit by comparison to other places so it was a very relaxed and quiet environment except for the woman in the corner who had her cell phone on speaker and was eating while she talked. The people were very friendly and the portion sizes were big enough that my friend and I each ordered a meal that we both wanted and they brought us extra plate so we could enjoy a family style. I look forward to going back.

Haven't been in a while. The food was great! We will definitely go back more often. And it was good seeing a familiar face! Thanks to Julio for bringing back wonderful memories!

I am originally from NJ and have been in the south for many many years. I have tried chicken egg foo young before and I could not find the same taste. My search is over. I ate there on Saturday and came back on Sunday to get more chicken egg foo young to go. I live in Greensboro and it was worth the drive!

Incredible service, amazing food, great decoration and atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff — I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! I’m only sad that we found it during our last week here in 3 years. Whenever we visit, we’ll be back (heck, we might just come back for the food and people at this restaurant 😉)!

I only did take out, but the Four Seasons dish I ordered had plenty of food, enough that I had leftovers for a full meal the next day for lunch. Long River has been a staple in this area for a long time, and they do a great job!

Long River is the best Chinese spot in Danville and they're not like all the other ordinary Chinese restaurants that are just basically a coin flip for where you're going. Food here is just good, can't get enough of their rice. Personal favorite is the classic sweet and sour chicken. The staff is always respectful/friendly and prices are reasonable.

Owner (I think it was) was pretty awesome and came over to check on the experience. It was great! The food was really good and somehow just as fast. Will stop here every time I’m in town!

I only go here for my Chinese food, they are Tony the Tiger GREAT🤤.

(Not buffet, but WORTH trying!!!) WONDERFUL little gem. OUTSTANDING food and service. Everything was excellent and super fresh. HIGHLY recommend trying the pu pu platter appetizer, shrimp & broccoli, egg drop soup & pork chow mein, all were delicious. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Dinner was delicious! The waitress was fantastic! I would definitely go back. We received a sample of this incredible chicken dish. I didn't catch the name, but wow I would go back just for it. My pork fried rice was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We treatt ourselves once a month here ! It's so delicious every time!
