My partner and I really enjoy going to breakfast places and seeing what we can find locally. We’ve gone to so many, they sometimes blur together. But Kristin’s totally sticks out as one of the most amazing breakfasts we’ve ever had. Our waitress, Nicole, was so incredibly nice and attentive. I got the coffee cake pancakes and deluxe home fries with broccoli and cheese, and they were delicious. The coffee cake pancakes aren’t just a swirl of cinnamon- it’s quite literally coffee cakes in pancake form. Every few minutes, people would leave and tell the waitstaff how amazing this restaurant is. If you’re new to the state, or just looking for a new place to eat, you have to go to Kristin’s.

Very great food. They have very big portions at a great price. The corn beef Hash was very good and not from a can.

Service was great as well.

Overall no complaints. Went for a couples brunch and mutually agreed to rate five based on our combined food and service experience. Just moved to Braintree from Quincy and decided to try a new breakfast spot. We picked up the menu and noticed Prices are decent and there is a good selection without being too overwhelming. Parking is on the street and can be a bit sparse, however we found a spot just two store fronts down. Parking is two hours so more than enough for brunch. Aesthetically it’s no fuss no muss.

We went around 12:30pm on a Wednesday (they close at 2pm this day). We walked in and were seated immediately. It did not get too crowded while we were there. Staff was friendly and attentive without being pushy. You can sit at a table or at the countertop on somewhat lower stools . They have a coffee machine, juice machine and hot chocolate machine behind the counter. Behind the counter is also there menu and specials in fun chalk colors. Printed menus are handed out when you walk in. There is a single bathroom in the back towards the kitchen.

We ordered: a corn ‘Johnny’ and a coffee cake pancake, a ham/sausage/bacon/cheese omelette, wheat toast, eggs Benedict and home fries.

I loved the eggs Benedict, plenty of sauce without smothering the plate, English muffin was thick and cooked just the right amount of stiffness to not get super soggy from the sauce and egg while eating. The Canadian bacon (ham) was thick cut and salty. Super happy with it. Excited to try the other Benedict’s they have.

Home fries were cooked well, crunchy without being burned, and the wheat toast was nice and thick cut. The omelet was also great (I would have ordered it without cheese because it felt a little overwhelming, but the meats were thickly chunked and plentiful). Would order again

The corn pancake was pretty yummy, it tasted like a blissful mesh of pancake and corn bread, topped with some whipped butter and you were good to go. Would order again.

Note on pancakes- you can order 1-3, and they are the size of a large plate. For most people 1 is enough if you have some other things with your meal.

Unfortunately I wasn’t In Love with the coffee cake pancake. I expected it to be sweeter but it was just sort of meh. That being said, there was nothing wrong with the way it was cooked. When I added the cinnamon sugar (that comes on top) with some syrup it was a decent enough pancake. Just a bit of a letdown compared to the other foods we got. Would not get it again but brought it home as a leftover.

We ordered ice coffee, which is literally black coffee with ice in a tall glass, cream comes in the small single serving containers and sugar is in a dispenser on the table. Don’t order this expecting frills. Would order again

Finally gave Kristins a try. It's quite a popular breakfast spot, so expect a wait, especially on weekends. When we visited, we had to wait around 20 minutes, but our anticipation made it bearable. The space is cozy but limited, yet the staff are welcoming and diligently ensure smooth service. The portions are generous—I couldn't even finish my meal, guaranteeing you'll leave satisfied. What sets it apart are the numerous specials, featuring an extensive array of pancakes, omelettes, drinks, and more. Choosing just one is a delightful challenge! Definitely a must-visit destination.

Friend brought me here for brunch today 7/23/23 for my very 1st time ever. It's a small storefront diner-like restaurant with an intimate family feel to it. Seating is somewhat limited & hear there are sometimes lines out the door. Maybe our timing was right because upon arrival, we were seated in minutes at the bar. Friendly & happy staff along with excellent service with food made to order. Should've taken a pic of my breakfast plate but was too hangry to even think camera at the moment! On my way out, I was impressed by their 19 wall plaques & told the staff they have more banners than the Boston Celtics - ha ha! Definitely hope to come back soon for lunch & heck more brunch - YUM!!! 🥓🍳🥐😋👍

Delicious! Splitting an omelette and pancakes with one other person is more than enough and for a great price. Fast, polite, good service. Know what they're doing. Very friendly and great place to eat.

This seems to be a local favorite and they were beyond welcoming to our group of three travelers. There was maybe a ten minute wait when we arrived at 10:15 am on a Saturday. Drink orders came quickly. There are laminated menus plus the menu is on a chalkboard on the wall.
We had buttermilk pancakes - delicious. Cornbread pancakes - a game changer. Seriously delicious. And banana bread French toast - very moist and yummy.
This is cash or venmo only and they appreciate the tips in cash.
If I'm ever in the Boston area again, I'll be back!

One of the best breakfast spots on the South Shore. Be advised that they only accept cash and Venmo. The food is awesome with a ton of specialty pancakes. My favorite menu items are the corned beef hash and the coffee cake French toast.

Omg!!!! Where do I begin... It's a Small mom n pop type place but don't let that discourage you... Ask to sit in Lisa's section she is the most friendliest and loveable waitress I have ever encountered... The food is to die for large portions and cooked with alot of love. Since I found this place I have been every weekend because I love it there so much. Special so you can get a bang for your buck. Different types of pancakes so u have some great options... definitely a hidden gem and I love the owner so sweet came out and talked with us for awhile... that place knows how to treat people n I'm happy to return trust you will love it as well

Fabulous breakfast at Kristin’s! We sat at the counter and were well attended. The banana bread French toast was amazing! Veg omelette with grill broccoli substitute for home fries was perfect with hot sauce. Can’t imagine going anywhere else for brunch in Braintree.

I love checking out spots I saw on phantom gourmet. One sight of the massive portions and creative pancake combinations and I was sold!

It delivers on price, portion and service. Awesome food and fast service all for a great price. I had the oreo pancake and cookie dough one. Both were an excellent breakfast dessert. Go check this place out!

Friendly staff and delicious food - especially the specialty pancakes! Only downside is that they don't take card payments but they do accept Venmo now!
